I asked around shops in Lowyat.. they claims that HTC will discontinue this model and bring in th Desire HD and Desire Z.

Even my fren went Maxis to ask for this phone, they tell him the same thing... Is this possible?

Yea the default dialer. Takes a little time to get used to but I'm all good smile.gif
My internet is not on all the time. Only when I need to use I will on it.
Possible but I highly doubt it. It's a relatively new model to be discontinued so soon. Plus it's their flagship device.  sweat.gif

I dun simply say... It is said by a guy of pda expert at ground floor near the exit/rear door...
Personally i agree with u, but source from around keep telling me i am wrong.

My fren who wanted to buy ask from Maxis, they say no stock and ask my fren wait for DHD...

what sd card type and what application running on background? most of us are satisfied with the performance and speed of desire with standard rom, and if you want more, just join us to the darkside, flash to custom rom  icon_rolleyes.gif sure extremely fast

It is a std sandisk 2G.... does it make a different if i change to a higher capacity 1? i use the advance task killer to stop all the background running apps but feel slow also.
Thanks a lot for the help... Desire user are so helpful...

I think i stick to froyo 1st.
Later if cannot tahan then only flash

Actually Desire is quite capable of handling processes itself without using task killers.

Higher capacity won't affect the speed, but higher class will.

You sure cannot tahan wan..I've been there before  tongue.gif

Hi all,

i have follow the following steps in installing the apps direct to sd by default but why every time i install stuff. It still occupied my internal memory space??
Please HELP ME. Now my phone internal memory only left 40mb. Btw, i also go to sd and phone storage and try to copy all apps to sd card. Any others way???? PLEASE HELP ME.

STEPS I FOLLOWED TO INSTALL APPS TO SD CARD BY DEFAULT.
# First you have to enable USB debugging on your Android device from Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging.
# Now you need to download and install the Android SDK on your computer from http://developer.android.com/sdk/. Once you’ve downloaded and extracted the package to the folder of your choice, run SDK Setup.exe and click on Available Packages to the left. If you get an error message at this point, enable “Force https://…” in the Settings. From the list of available packages, select “Usb Driver package”, click on the Install Selected button in the bottom right corner and follow the prompts.
# Connect your phone to your computer with a USB-cable. Your OS will prompt you to install new drivers. Choose to install them from the android-sdk/usb_driver folder. Do not mount your device; you only need to plug-in the cable.
# Next, run a command prompt and navigate to the Android-SDK\tools folder. In Windows, this is done by selecting Run from the Start Menu (or by pressing Win+R) and typing cmd. You change drives in the command prompt by entering the drive letter followed by a colon (smile.gif, and change folders with the CD command. For example, to enter the Android-SDK folder, simply type cd android-sdk.
# In the Android-SDK\tools folder, type in adb devices and you should get a serial number starting with “H” in return. All you have to do next is entering adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2. Voilà, you’re done! Android will now install apps to the SD card by default.
