Err, I lost my old entries when my pc crashed

Then later I learned to extract the Outlook data from within the Windows folders and back it up on a non-OS drive. Please don't assume you know how I do my work.
Yes, I do backup my appts to PC, but that's not the point. Every other mobile operating system allows you, the user, to decide how he wants to backup his stuff. Why do you have to be such a fanboy and think everyone should just do what google dictates we should do? What's the point of an "open" platform, when the fact is that google is just trying to increase our dependence on them? Is that so hard for you to understand?
you seemed annoyed by my replies so much so that you can even assumed that i am a fanboy of google.
it is very dissapointing 2b accused of something that you're absolutely not. well, why do you have to make such conclusion (and a 100% wrong one too) in the first place also puzzled me. all i wanted to share is my experience with Microsoft Outlook for years and syncing using Symbian, WM and to Android devices. you did not mention ur data lost was caused by pc crashed. Based on ur postings, i assumed you have lost data due to sync problem not a pc crash and that the void in ur calendars r caused by less frequent sync available in Android.
for your info, i had a hard time syncing my Outlook with my desire once I opt for vanilla customs ROMs.
I even have to install 3rd party software to sync my Outlook to Google than from Goolge to my desire
I had a hard time finding those software too. Now, I have to sync from my notebook to Google than back to my phone.
so, why do i need 2b a google fanboy when i am having all these hassle with Google???
Google Android does not even have native direct sync support to Outlook, another negative factor of using Android phones.
If you are on non-sense custom ROMs, you can forget about using HTC Sync. It wouldn't work.
You will be wasting much time finding SYNC software and will be complaining more about Android which I did.
Only one or too 3rd party sync software are good enough to perform perfect sync to google.
Look, I just offered my simple advice: PC/Notebook to store the master copy of ur calendars/contacts/tasks while mobile as a temp device and sync as frequent as possible.
If my advice is of no use to you, then so sorry for wrong advice, & you can juz ignore it.
And if my tone sounds annoying to you, I offer my apology too.

Hey guys, is it necessary to download adobe flash player?
Isn't browser already can play flash without it?
Are you in customs ROMs? Some customs ROMs do not have flash player.
Just download from the market.
Original 2.2 HTC OTA has built in flash support already.

would love to try MIUI but...damn the camera and dialer~~ i hope they were from htc.
Yupe, I really missed HTC dialer since i opt for vanilla or MIUI roms.
To be able to lookup names or phone numbers at once is really something i missed
and btw, MIUI camera & videos has really loud default sound which you cant even switch off.
only way is to delete the sound files from the system

Thanks dracozz, I'm on miui rom now. Really nice interface although iphonish. But I feel it more responsive than auraxt. Typing a bit lag thou. Will use it for a few days to get use to the interface hehe
No problem. yupe, definitely iphonish, even some icons are similar as iphone. even folder widgets r iphone feature.
anyway i really don't mind they port all good features from everywhere.
so far, I am using the original MIUI keyboard as i need chinese support which seems fine to me.
EpsilonStar, do you find it hard to answer calls by swiping downwards?
It's really quite hard to swipe down. Always need to swipe a few times to answer a call.
Sense also swipe down but definitely easier to swipe.
