Don't forget Ando as well. Suddenly our options there looking great. With Valencia out, we might see Hargreaves play in his position where he was great.

Scholes, Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Hargreaves, Gibson.

You miss one hell of a player. Fletcher + Carrick(minus the long pass, he was more economical with his passing) + Mascherano + a lot more. One minute he was near or even inside the penalty area to score a goal, and once the opposition counter attack, he'll be the one making the tackles on the other side of the pitch, and then straight away join the next attack. That's the kind of player he was. Box to box. Keane-Butt/Scholes. I didn't see many live games back in the day, but from the few live games they showed, I still remember how we look really poor whenever he misses a game. Butt-Scholes don't look as effective against most sides. Always lacking something.

16m for Carrick, 18m Ando, 17m Hargreaves.
Pretty expensive CMs there..

Carrick back in form, Hargreaves as a backup to Fletcher(another option that brings the same sort of energy), Ando with his creativity and hopefully more consistent performance.. we're set!

City win would be better. Rivals or not, Chelsea are running away with the league currently so we need them to lose, even if it means cheering on Liverpool and City to do it.

Gerrard or no Gerrard, come that game, I hope Chelsea lose.

Offside goals as well. Twice in different games!

You seemed disappointed that Chelsea lose twice in a row.

It's only been two games. A miss penalty in the first one, and in both games we surrendered our lead annoyingly. Won't make the same mistake again unless they really want to test SAF's patience.

WTH? Gerrard elbow, Welbeck should have got a penalty.. classy bunch aren't they?

Danny Welbeck has been charged with violent conduct by the FA.
They have reviewed the video evidence of the incident with Gerrard and charged him(Welbeck) with "high / dangerous use of the face" against Gerrard's elbow.

Looks like SAF is going with the tried and tested. I just wish we somehow pick up the wingers who came into the middle from out wide. It hurt us against Pool..
