are there any file i can save in order for me to write in chinese?

i think i had a bad flash, when i turn on my phone, i can only feel the vibration, after that nothing appear at all

this is what i attempt
1) downloaded original firmware via navi (0573786)
2) downloaded xtension c6-01 cfw by upakul
3) rename upakul's file as per original file name
4) place it into phoenix/products/RM-356
5) proceed with flash
6) after pooling, phone won't boot, you can only feel the vibration, no light no screen

i've flashed back to my original firmware and i'm able to boot it up

anyone mind to point out which step i made mistake? thanks in advance

nope, u should not flash using the original firmware, u need to download C6 CFW by pnht, then only mix those file 2gether, remember there is no rofs3 file, then only u start to flash

anyway, i'm reading guide by pnht, he pointed out that firmware files should be placed in “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356″
where as other guide is asking to put in phoenix/products/RM-356

so which 1 should i follow?

Any one of the both also can as long JAF is able to detect the firmware files.

For me, I used “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356″

Waiting for them to make QWERTY input for chinese, but currently they manage to make numeric and handwriting input for chinese, but I haven't tried yet.

just 1 question, its just eye candy issue, when i scroll thru my homescreen, it doesn't have effect, means when you flip from page 1 to page 2, it doesn't have animation, is there a settings to it or ?

yeah they do have pinyin, but only in numeric keypad, you can search in opda.net.cn i forgotten the link already, sorry.

you need to add the language into the rofs2 and reflash again...

use original pnht release + replace rofs2 with the chinese version + use upakul xtension?

what tool is needed if i want to repack the rofs2 with Chinese language?

You only can either use the chinese version rofs2 or extension rofs2, or you can add chinese language into extension rofs2 but I'm still unsure about the input

i found another guide on using htc sense on 5800, but it required to install gdesk

edit: i've imported pcrchinese to the rofs2 file and flashed it to my phone,i can change phone language to chinese , but doesn't have chinese input, where did you guys extract the chinese language from?
