After multiple restarts only it looked back normal like this

Where should i send it for repair?The warranty is already over last April.

did u try flashing ur phone?? if the problem persist then its hardware problem ed

Did you put your phone in a cold place?

Magic phone, I face this problem twice, 1st still in warranty so replace screen free, after one year problem occur again, no more warranty, sent for screen replacement cost RM150.00, after that i gave this phone to my son, bought another SE Experia X1 phone, use till now with custom ROM, always like new phone now.

If im not mistaken, it happen after you lock your phone and then unlock ?

nono,it happened due to LCD problem

if use magnet can correct the problem..why Nokia never put magnet there in the 1st place?

You must know that not all the tube suffer this problem. Other than increasing the production costs, only god know if such an action would cause more problems than solving it.

have the same problem during i was in japan. the weather is - degree. but after coming back, is back to normal untill i update to v52 it pop up like this again for few times.

I just flashed to V52 last night,the problem is still there
In cold places [like in an express bus] the problem is so severe that i can't use the phone at all as whatever i do the phone's LCD won't show things properly

BTW, I still using stock firmware, which 1 is the most stable firmware guys? gonna take a second updating my phone later

Recently i just bought a Nokia 5800.

Can anyone of you here teach me on how to install the application, themes as well as games in Nokia 5800?

Is it a must to use PC suite to install? or i can just put the installation file in to the memory card and activate the installation in phone?

Does this goes the same for themes and games?


I have tried to look for guide on this but couldn't find a proper one.
I hope i can find the correct way of doing it, so that i wont crash my phone.

Oops, I didn't read back previous post.
For official FW, v52 is the lastest now.
For CFW, there are tons of them at DMF forum

@eddiez, the installation just like u're installing app in ur PC. Only the file type was in .sis or .jar mostly rather than .exe Copy the file into ur phone memory card (better put in specific folder), when finish just find the file in ur phone and execute it. That's it
