999 is the police lah! If you have read half the thread, police report has been made. Maybe to the police, cyber crimes like this that "only" involves thousands of ringgit is not worth much investigation, as opposed to hardcore criminals and CBT cases that involves millions of ringgit.

I think we need to publicise this case even more so that ppl will know it's not just a petty conman...to all the newspapers and TV media, not just in cyberspace.

Who wanna volunteer to write to all the editors of Malaysian media? Preferably a victim of the con job himself/herself.

i think the better way to get this guy is by highlighting this issue to the press, to any press who cares, this way, with some public awareness and pressure, the police will act more swiftly....until that, they will just take their own sweet time.

Just compare the awareness between forums and media press! How big is the impact?
