I bought DOA.D 3DS just to get a feel of the more recent DOA3 & 4 which is only available on the Xbox/360 thus far. DOA.D kinda felt a little lighter in every terms although it really did combine most features from previous doa games. I dunno, maybe the lower screen res made me feel that way that it's less immersive compared to it's console counterparts. But that's okay as i completely understand i'm currently playing the handheld ver. of the game.

I used to play DOA2 on the Dreamcast a lot and i love it's Tag Battle & Team Mode. However just like azfar90 mentioned the tag mode in DOA.D forces u to switch with ur cpu-controlled partner and that was disappointing for me as i see no problems controlling both character per switch. As for team mode, there were none. I'm not sure if team mode was available for Local 3DS Play instead of Solo or Internet.

Jan Lee's movement in DOA.D resembles his DOA3 & 4 model. Which is a bit speedier than the DOA2 version that i'm used too. It's not like i like him being slower. I just think his DOA2 model has a more impactfull feeling when he moves or attacks. I haven't seen any of his DOA2 customes in the 3DS version and still hoping for it.

I immediately notice Ryu Hayabusa's double palm attack can be held down and produce aura damage.

I recently realized that Kokoro is the female/friendly version of Akira Yuki from Virtua Fighter. Due to not having an Xbox/360, this is my first time playing her and some other characters.

Online is laggy but can be sped up a little if both users turn off their 3D effect. I think the online system in SSF4 3DS works way if not miles better than DOA.D 3DS. Most of the time i end up having "Rejected" match-ups.

I'm still stuck on 100 Opponent in Survival Mode. Managed to get through 80+

Chronicle Mode is basically Story Mode but it's presentation is a bit confusing. The time & setting was correct, but the way each character comes in & out switching from one to another's plot needs more work.

Photo Mode only lets you save pictures and view it inside the game and not transfer it to the 3DS's own photo mode. This perhaps was knowingly not made in light to sexual controversial use.
