QUOTE(iamKiet @ Oct 6 2010, 02:19 PM) Thanks. You should share some tamron 10-24 poison too He quotes 2k. Don't know can nego or not (I know CJ can read this) I WANT NEGO! 2k for first hand?WOW. QUOTE(Batmaninkl @ Oct 6 2010, 02:57 PM) Good afternoon...thanks for all the advices and critics on my yesterday queries.....don't worry hiansitt, actually i prefer negative critic with facts because i have read so many good reviews but problems are not highlighted. yesterday and today comments have made me do more research and thinking on A55, especially the video clip in youtube. I will agreed with you (hiansitt) and albnok, A55 do have better AF for video and very practical for my video purpose. My concern on sensor overheating also has been addreesed, it seems like canon (7D, T2i) are capped at 12 min, Nikon (D5000, D90) are capped at 5min. Lastly, some users in DPreview forum also indicated that the continuous shooting with high speed memory cards will reduced the "blackout" to almost 10 sec instead of 40-50sec. Now i just has have to try out A55 by end of this month if available and buy or wait for another 11 months for 2nd generation "translucent" camera A77....haha. about the blackout thing when you use continuous shooting, you have to compare it objectively. the blackout time, when using 10fps, to shoot 5 pics one go, compared to 10 pics, compared to 100 pics, for sure the processing time will be different, assuming you are using an above average speed memory card.

QUOTE(Batmaninkl @ Oct 6 2010, 04:15 PM) Thanks for your advice, i normally take 5-10 pics the most in continuous shooting...so not that concern to me as long as the high speed memory card can help to reduce the recovery time (blackout).......so any advice on lens...need something like 50f1.8 or 50f1.4 for macro use.....not a pro yet so need lens that is reasonable in price.... define your meaning of reasonable? and what you meant by macro use? you want shoot a bug until can see the head big big?

QUOTE(Newbieeeeee @ Oct 6 2010, 10:48 PM) Right.. Thank you everyone.. Can't quote.. Too many and I'm using phone's Wifi.. Hmm.. 1. Whats f58 retail @ sony centre? 2.warranty-less f58 or still have warranty f42? rm1199? f58 any day bro. unless you buying it from a pro photog who shoots for a living. then the lifespan of the bulb might be reduced. but if just an enthusiast..i don't think will have the need for warranty.. anyway, shit happens, your call. i'd still get f58. =D
