oh finally they decided to make da game whoaaa haaaaa haaaa!

Nahhh. I seriously do not think that's Dante. Too different from the previous series. Too much angst. He's also missing his trademark sword.
Some says a total redesign; a reboot of the series. I kind of think that kid got brainwashed to think he's Dante judging by the start of the trailer. |

Dante DMC2 is the most dark personality Dante with emogoth attire. Dante DMC is the second in tier of dark personality,while others (3&4) have all new joker attitude. |

In fact i am very interested for this DMC series. DMC will be losing its point of interest if the OLD Dante is used again. Young Dante will bring us much different perspective of story line which when he was young.

Keep your minds open. The main selling point of DMC is still the gameplay. Let's see if Ninja Theory is able to deliver gameplay that surpasses their previous work, Heavenly Sword and rivals Bayonetta. I'm more worried about the art direction of the game rather than how Dante performs as a character.
Ninja Theory didn't buy DMC over, Capcom gave them the project. |

no offense but at least bother reading before bashing ninja theory...
capcom WANTED ninja theory to make the reboot like this... they wanted a western styled dmc due to their low sales over in the western countries (heavily pirated as usual as well) at first ninja theory tried nt to make any radical changes (5% change to dante) but capcom wanted them to make radical changes... from wut i see it, ninja theory is the scapegoat where all the bashing goes to them isntead of capcom... he can even make joke when during war with the demons... beside , if u play the DMC 3 before , then u know what my meaning... i still remember i feel shocks when i see the dante use a motor to fly up to the tower and jump back from the tower after battle with vergil.... |

They're taking a big gamble with this much of a shift.
Even the combat as seen in the trailer looks stylistically different from what's been done before. Not as 'gaya', but has a more gritty feel to it. |

and some said it is the story of how dante become the current dante..... so it should be a prequel.... but they is already DMC3 which was a prequel... so this is prequel of the prequel.....
Anyway DMC series is going down the hill after Shinji Mikami left Capcom..... Bayonetta is way more fun than the last DMC game. |

Give it some chance, at least until longer gameplay demo. I like the new art direction, alternate universe and vibrant colour, no more boring forgotten castle like the previous three games. From the video, i think the combat is pretty fluid.

it's good idea for a new start for dante and different gameplay.. we're familiar with the old style which has been used in previous series.. it will just make me feel boring if the character play in hack and slash using same style again in the new series.. i'm not saying dmc4 is not good.. just wanna try something new in the upcoming dmc

Gameplay, camera, settings, storyline all were dated, like in the era of PS1 and PS2 but with HD quality graphic. At first i doubted this game will be good, not because of the new Dante but because i never heard the name of the developer. But from the demo gameplay, i like the new alternate universe, combat, gameplay and puzzle. It look fresh and urban. I think the only hatred from fans is because of Dante new look. I've been playing the game on PC for the last week, and it's a real killer. It's certainly a "port" of a console game, in that the menus and heads-up display are the same as the console version and there are no unique functions or mouse/keyboard-specific settings. But it runs like a champ—my PC, an i5 Intel with a GTX 660 Ti graphics card, has no problem whatsoever running it at a locked 60 frames-per-second with the settings turned up to "Ultra" and the HD effects on. You can actually set the refresh rate in the PC version of the game, though I found that I had some issues at first: I'd set it to 60Hz, which caused a lot of weird screen-tearing and flickering on my image. Often, Fraps would report the game running at more than 150fps, which seemed odd, though I couldn't tell if that was related to the issues I was having. The next time I started the game up, it defaulted to 26Hz, which actually ran the game at a perfect 60fps and looked perfect. So, 24Hz was the setting that worked for me. Your mileage may vary. I'd say noodle around with the framerate settings once you get the game to find what works for your system. Past games in the Devil May Cry series ran at 60FPS on consoles, but the console versions of the new DmC only run at 30. The console's lower frame-rate isn't the end of the world by any means, and Evan certainly didn't seem to mind when he gave the 360 version a glowing review. But with the game running super-smooth at 1080p, it's hard to argue that the PC version of DmC is the superior version of the game. Controls are another story—you'll probably want to play DmC with a controller and not a mouse and keyboard, unless you're a huge fan of playing imprecise action games (that don't require a reticle or any precision aiming) with a mouse and keyboard. I've been playing DmC as what I've started to think of as a "Steam-Box Game." That is, a game that I play like a console game: On my PC, plugged into my TV, with a controller. The game is a good example of a well-executed, if straightforward, example of a Steam-Box Game. Like so many games of the fall, DmC does fine on consoles but feels a little bit next-gen on PCs. finiish first level tonite on PC, ninja theory i think got some skill, but i dont find button to lock enemy like normal dmc, the skill quite nice and handy, looking for the next devil and angle weapon hehe, superb new DMC

For those who has ANY problem dealing with ANY enemy in the game, my tip is: learn how to dodge with Demon and Angel Evade.
It's the 2 most important moves in Dante's arsenal. Because the window to dodge in this game is SOOOOOOO wide, it's pathetically simple to exploit Demon evade. Furthermore, after Demon Evade, the enemies will STOP attacking you because as was explained by Vorador: enemies DO NOT attack when your back is against them. You get bonus damage, you get sick amount of skill points as well. Learn and master Demon evade. DMD mode feels broken with it. |

just discovered how to kill tyran, when uppercut to mid air right, then hook back him to you then punch to floor then hook back then opunch to floor then hook back then punch to floor (in mid air...repeat till i tired)
good way to avoid annoying landing creep att. |

You do know that you can deflect your own shuriken back at them after they deflect it back to you right?
Here's the thing, ALL physical projectiles in this game CAN BE DELFECTED. Only range attacks that cannot be deflected are like Pathos guided string attack or those torns from the Rage. Basically, if it is a physical thing and it is a projectile, it can be deflected. So don't worry! |

all sifu here mind to share u spec of pc for play this game i own a intel i3 2100 and a asus h61 boad+ 2x2gb ddr3 ram hdd 1terra wd... d game freeze a while in playing need we ALT+del+cntl then it will move again in mode 640*480 all low setting.... but stage 1-6(smooth) is ok after i use trainer it run out with cant plable ... its my spec cant playble need to buy a gpu o my spec being attack by virus need format......

i have my aryx on most of the time...arbiter is kinda useless...unless u r planning to spam mid air axe throw to keep those tough monster away...(those that dun die easily) else eryx..scythe and rebellion air spam...or use chain to drag em to u...

Uh, no... Rebellion melee x2 > pause > switch arbiter > melee = bread and butter combo, does so much damage it isn't even funny. No weapons in the game is useless, so I guess... props to Ninja Theory in balancing them out. The key is to play stylishly, mix your combos and that would give you the most damage, regardless of the enemy. It's always been like that in any DMC game. If you just hell bent to sticking on one weapon... well, that's all there is to it then, you're not utilizing what the game gives you. |

yeah. i use normal rebellion move to send the enemy flying up cos it charges faster than the eryx uppercut. then I use eryx to punch them down, they bounced back, punch again...until i almost reach the ground, i super charged my eryx stomp. haha...
i just got the shotty. lol...i like all the weapons in game. some of the move combos i only discovered in training mode. noob me. hahaha...didnt know some of them could work that way. |

Make it more awesome by 'shotgun hiking' their faces.
Jump cancel off a shotgun shot in the air. Example: Launch enemy into the air > follow up > shotgun shot > jump cancel > shotgun shot again > repeat The shotgun in DmC is the best shotgun in every single DMC game thus far. |

i am already using the 360 one in DMC4 last time. better experience on console styles game. but if my current one broke, certainly will get a wireless 360 or the razer.

saw the vergil's gameplay trailer... USD 8.99 for 3- 5 hours gameplay I think is ok. Not sure if we can use Vergil to go through normal gameplay missions...

Done with this game, missed the old dmc, but to hell with that.. You cant beat the original so i do enjoy this game, its got nicer and easier combo chain, nicer graphic demonstration
