It depends on your usage. If you're perfoming web-surfing or GPS, the battery will drain out very quickly.

A few tips to improve perhaps a little is
1) Change your network mode to 2G Only if you're not using your network data.
2) Reduce the brightness of the screen or you may turn power-saving mode on.
3) Shut any unused apps because multitasking in Symbian will still require processes if it's running because it's true multitasking not "fake" multitasking in iOS biggrin.gif

Pretty much nothing else can increase the Battery Time.
The battery capacity is the main thing. While doing the above few might increase your battery usage time, this is only because you have changed your usage pattern.

My personal suggestion : Get a Portable Charger to couple with your phone. Remember to get one with a higher capacity smile.gif

After using it for one day aggresively, noted 1 prob:
1) auto re-start the phone sometimes; especially after i screen lock it and 1 2 unlock, hang a while then re-start

2) The fixed focus photo really bad!

3) I cant set my sms tone, setting>profiles>general>personalise>Message alert tone>songs>all songs>opening> then cant load and go bec to the initial page

Any1 can help?

Do try reinstalling your firmware as in the whole thing through Nokia Ovi Suite or the older PC Suite.
Anyway, I don't think it's fair if Nokia isn't replacing your phone when there's an issue to it and if you have just purchase it within 2 weeks time.
Try asking NCC again & if they refuse to do a replacement, do check out this site : National Consumer Complaints Centre and lodge a report against them smile.gif

Apart from the above tips, i also disable the screen saver clock and vibrate when touch as well. Then i use Killme to end useless tasks when idling. With Profile Scheduler, i set my phone offline from 12-7am daily and set it to power saving as well. Might save a few miliwatts. sweat.gif My phone is in 2G the whole time as i don't use video call. 3G talktime is half the 2G talktime as in the spec.

No idea about the product code or screen protector. ._.

Hi guys! Can't believe there's actually a thread on the Nokia C6-01 ! How cool is that? smile.gif

Just got my C6-01 recently. There's one thing which is really boggling my mind.

Where can I get more Games or cool Apps like maybe some fun (yet maybe useless) Apps u find on the iphone?
And most importantly, how do I install those apps into my phone?

- I tried downloading some free apps online with the .sis file, I transferred these files into my Memory Card area, but they don't show up in my phone. Sorry I'm such a noob. doh.gif

A lot of websites to download. Just google. One of them is n8fanclub.com. They have instructions on how to sign sis file for installation as well. Have you tried Ovi Store? sweat.gif

Screen protector can be purchase from any shop or seller. It doesn't really matter. Quality wise, there's not much difference between branded like Capdase & Ayam brand. The only thing you should decide is what type of SP do you want. Clear type or Matte (Anti-fingerprint) or Mirror or whatever...
Personally, I prefer Clear type although it's a fingerprint magnet biggrin.gif

Yes yes, the vibration feedback uses quite a lot of battery as well smile.gif

Hey, don't worry.
.sis file is a installer file. So, after transferring the .sis file into your phone Memory Card, go to file manager in office and look up for the .sis file in the folder you have placed. Then select the .sis file. Go through the installation process and you're finish, the installed app will be shown in your app folder smile.gif

Subsequently, you may connect your phone to the PC via PC Suite connection and make sure you have either OVI Suite or PC Suite (Both does pretty much the same thing. The latter is a older version of connectivity suite before OVI Suite was developed) Just double click the .sis file in your computer and it will automatically installs it (well, you still have to follow the on-screen steps) smile.gif

I see, in Malaysia we don't have those Clear type of SP but at the same time anti-fingerprint eh? BTW, hengguowei, do you use any casing for your C6-01?
