ggMing,
thanx for offering those marvelous fishes brows.gif
i'll be waiting for red tail payara and arapaima next month...
about the aquascape short course, me and my wife are interested to attend the course, do notify when it will be held k smile.gif

one more thing, does anyone know what species is this fish?? is it available here?

These are tiny little monster that hides in sand and prey on fishes from below. Not salt water! Max size around 20cm! Guess what are they!

Hey man, how are the pacus doing? Yup, remember meeting you at the shop. I think you came with a friend right?

Anyway, building as in DIY or getting it built by someone?
I think fishes that can grow big would appreciate as much space as possible. Certainly it couldn't possibly hurt.

What sort of dimensions do you have in mind? Also, what sort of setup do you have planned?

yeah, i came with a friend.
my pacus are doing great but they seem to eat a lot..i feed them at least 4 times a day..
is it because water temp and water pump flow??
currently i'm using 2 water pump, one for external filter and another for sump tank filter..

as for my future pond, i don't have the slightest idea what sort of dimension sad.gif
pimpin, for one full grown gigas what pond size should it be?? your help is most appreciated smile.gif

btw next week i'm planning to collect "the fishes"...maybe tuesday after work..

Added on December 14, 2011, 9:45 amhi guys,
i'm keeping 2 Red Tail Payara 7", 2 Polypterus senegalus 6"-7", 1 common black pleco 6" and 1 aligator gar 2" in a 3' tank....
all of them are doing fine...but my RTP are swimming in a straight angle NOT head down position as normal RTP does...
i realize this starting happening after adding a power head in the tank to give slightly strong current as to immitate their natural habitat...
