Yup, was there last night. There're 2 demo units. It's located at the Harvey Norman exhibition area, not the Maxis outlet.HTC Desire Z is launched!, Finally out at Maxis!

QUOTE hey guys, i like to ask those who have bought a set from maxis, i like to know a few details before buying from maxis From what I understood from Maxis, once you lock yourself in with their contract, you can't get out (that includes changing plans) and will be forced to stay with that plan until the end of the contract.1. How much do u pay in advance ? 2. If lets say i take value plus and idata plan at RM98 (50+48), can i terminate my value plus but continue on paying for the RM48. Will this cause my phone to be taken back ? I asked if I could upgrade the plan (meaning, I get ivalue + idata for 2 years, but within the year I feel like getting another plan, like say, change the ivalue to something else). They said not possible without paying a penalty. Your phone will remain with you because after you get the phone it's considered that you already purchased it. Hope that answers your question. Ok, I rooted and overclocked my DZ to 1.34GHz. It's absolutely blazing.
No lag on FB flash games. Battery consumption is quite massive when you're playing games, not so much for everything else. If I just use my DZ normally (answer calls, sms, surf a bit, fb a bit), it can last a full day with about 20-40% left to spare (if you configure setCPU) by the end of the day. I'm talking 7am to 11pm. But if you play games (like Dungeon Defender or Zenonia 2), it'll probably last 5 hours or so before it starts beeping you to charge it. (I've yet to test this fully but I did manage to play Dungeon Defenders for about 1 to 1.5 hours and my battery dropped from around 85 to 50+). |

^ haha, yeah, which is why I've yet to test it. I can't seem to sit and just play games on my phone till the batt runs dry.
