advice me,
i read you need to put crystal rocks to purify the water. is it the crystal we see in HOJB?
What about live rocks ,same function?
Usually how big is your marimo with fish tank?
And how many crystal is needed?

The crystal rocks/live rocks are having similar functions and features. However, as in my post, it is recommended but not a compulsory to put. Regarding the size of the marimo kindly refer to first post as they are stated over there icon_idea.gif. Regarding the amount of crystal, at least 5% of the size of your tank will be sufficient enough. Thanks smile.gif

Is this species different from 'regular' moss balls? Do they sell regular moss balls in Malaysia, or are you the only one delivering them?

Well, in the Netherlands I used to have around 20 of those 10cm moss balls floating in my 2mtr aquarium. I am not sure if they are the same, as I never saw air coming out of them smile.gif. So what I would like to know is this a different species or are all moss balls the same. I want a few for my shrimp tank, as shrimps love these moss balls. I am not sure however if I should get these 'special' ones as they are quite pricy and to me it is not about the moss balls, but about the shrimp having a nice place to chill smile.gif

I see, it is hardly to know they are the same or not without knowing the species, the one over here is Cladophora Aegagropila Marimo smile.gif You may visit the marimo fans club as in my signature to view other members keeping the marimo with shrimp, I do keep few of them with my crayfish (some ppl call fresh water lobster)

Hi kTs09, as stated in previous post, I am not selling the bottle as it is not cost effective due to buyer have to pay more for shipment (due to the weight of the bottle) and also fragile issue icon_idea.gif

You use normal pump and filter?
