QUOTE(ron2004 @ Jan 8 2011, 01:17 PM) Thanks, HMMaster. These are from the official user manual? Gsmarena list the values very much lower - 0.45 W/kg (head) 0.37 W/kg (body). yes, from the manual.

Guys, is this phone good for games, or does the low resolution 320x480 limit its app compatibility? I want Android not Symbian but I don't want something too expensive.
Is LG really that bad? Is the warranty good?
What is SAR, can someone explain?
TY

TY 320*480 is quite good... better than some screen that got lower resolution. SAR: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Specific_absorption_rate

Have switched on "use wireless networks" and "use GPS satellites) Ney, same problem with mine. You searched for your location through "Get current location" on the settings there? Yep, it comes out with no result on my unit. Test your gps with Ndrive, if it works, then i guess the gps should be no problem. Anyway, anyone receives the sms from LG regarding the warranty? I don't.

TY Trust me it's better than getting HTC Wildfire which the price is much more higher compare to this phone.

I'm buying the phone tomorrow, so from what I read in the last few pages, shops in LYP sell them for RM850+-? I couldn't get definite answer on the warranty issue, can someone clarify about this? Thanks

Any OPTIMUS ONE users care to comment on a few things:
- is texting good - does it lag or is it quite fast mostly - are there compatible screen covers and casing protectors you are using
TYVM I am thinking of buying soon.

Texting on qwerty is generally fast but not exactly as butter smooth as in high end phone. Not using any case. Screen protector is available.

Oh I see, that's good to hear.
Price should ideally be RM830-850.
If anyone has seen a low price please let me know.
Also, how does LG warranty work?

So now Honeycomb (Android 3.0) is out.
WTF? Most of the phones still use 1.5/1.6/2.1!
Getting a Froyo now for ~RM850 doesn't seem like such a good idea all of a sudden.
