hi, just bought a 2nd hand alienware today. i wanna ask, why when i plugged in the cable, it says " plugged in, not charging ". Or sometimes, it didnt even said plugged in, even i've plugged in the power cable. Help me, thanks.

if u take out the battery what it say? then put back the battery..

sorry bro, it's fixed. i had to wait like.. 30 sec then it will says "plugged in, not charging". then wait around 1 min more, it says "plugged in, charging"

anyway, thanks. i'll keep up if i wanna ask about something.

Hi guys,thought of buying Alienware M15x in February. So right now,still info gathering about it.

Are the sounds (eg. sound card,speakers) on the M15x any good? Any info about it?

Are the keyboard,mouse or headset be worth it to buy? I already got Steelseries Ikari already.

Speakers are shallow~ tongue.gif their accessories aar... hmm.gif I wouldn't recommend it~ tongue.gif even Razer and SS is still superior compared to it...

Design - NICE
Screen - reflection occurs .....but still color damn nice , vibrant biggrin.gif
Keyboard - hehe my backspace key got weird when i spam it -> "ALIEN SOUNDS" , nice backlit
the system is kinda noisy when u gaming , u have to get use to it..
Temp: > 60C - cooling system damn "cool"
conclusion : M15x PWNS
go get some pro accs if u can afford it hahaha

Thanks for the reply. Looks like Asus carries much better internal sound system with their G53 series notebooks.

And also need to invest in a decent speaker or headset.

some laptops have this function key to turn off the LCD by pressing FN+XX

hes only asking if AW has this function, very lame meh ?
