Well, if one wanted to be blind, so be it.
I'm a M15x owner and I'm very happy with it.
Now I wanted to get a m11x too, for mobility sake, but given the known major issue, I'm not sure anymore.
And no, if I know the issue is right in front of my eyes, I'm not getting it.
Safar you got the point up there, but Dell isn't issuing a recall because they don't give a damn. (I seriously hope I'm wrong here)
They are just loving customer like casperito because they are easily bought by just giving them refurbished stuffs.
Individually, perhaps to you, you just have got too much time to waste. Not all of us here do.
Case scenario:-
You are doing a presentation and your m11x hinge failed you, in front of everyone. How Dell is gonna warrant that?
You are traveling to some place, say some island or oversea. The hinge failed you. How Dell can compensate that?
:/
I love Dell. But, they have got to stand and face the problem m11x is having. Please, don't tell me the perfect or not anymore, because it's obviously not, want comparison? Do you see complaint for hinge of M15/M17x as often as m11x? Face it.\
Oh and btw.

its juz like iphone 4... they have those signal problem thingy but still people buy them... and this is bcoz they trust the brand...
No, it's because of Fanboyism. rofl.
Believe it or not, your call.

so for someone to say dell know the product have known issue and not doing anything is not true.
Wrong.
Dell are made known to this issue. But they did nothing.
How do I know? I read the Dell Community forum and "Chris", one of the Dell representative in the forum told the folks that he has been bringing up that problem for every week meeting. So, what gives?
And FYI, check this out.
http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-...ed-already.htmlI don't see this on neither m15x/m17x section. Is this obvious enough?
