I'm still in contract with Maxis coz of SGS's plan. Can I go for iphone 4 without another adding another contract? Just curious.

Yes, Maxis call it RECONTRACT.

For example, your contract left 6months, so now you can SAMBUNG KONTRAK, 6months + 12months = 18months bound. Very desperate to sell it seem.

Previous Digi plan for 3GS have this 2+1year contract. I'm not sure what it means.
The deal seems good, I think RM88 for 2+1 year contract, the phone is stated as FREE.
Then my friend go and ask and found out, the first 2 year is RM88.
The 3rd year is not RM88, you have to pay for the phone installment in the 3rd year.
Seems like senang dahulu, SYOK later.

Is it true? Anybody know?

The most expensive iPhag 4 with Maxis plan is RM1990. So N8 price mustn't be more than that isn't it?

Wrong info passed to you lor...

The plan is still RM88 for 2 years + one Iphone. However, the repayment was stretch over 3 years. So you are actually paying the phone + 2years of services for 3 years. Thats why 3rd years onwards you need to pay more cos still need to pay installment + RM88 (if you still choose to stay with Digi).

RM1990 is with Maxis plan, not the actual recommended retail price (RRP).
So N8 RRP price can stilll be more expensive than RM1990.

If i am not wrong someone mentioned that pre-order for nokia N8 is below 2K wat.

To put it simple, the phone is actually not free. 3rd year u have to pay.

If u really use the plan that much its worthy if not its very expensive

for me only average RM30 usage per month nia woh... of coz no data transaction lah....

Not worthy i am using prepaid so in long run without commitment i am actually paying same value with postpaid.
I am using the iphone 500MBx 12months package cant even exceed 500MB monthly =(
