bro prae. R u goin for blx? i got one, emm.. for me, 90% same like k-factor. only diff is muted feel and lighter swing weight.

i played with damper but muted feel is like no feel. took out damper can feel the same old vibration and 'dong dong' noise which i dont like...

light swing is nice...

ur comment?

For that low a tension I can play without dampener, as a dampener only eliminates the high frequency 'pinging' and thats it, it doesn't really reduce vibration to the arm thats my opinion anyway, other people may have a different opinion on it, though.
*
absolutely right, the damper just silent the frequency... is all bout feeling of the player... in my case, i dont like noise but love the hitting feel. BLX kinda too quiet.... could not feel the 'uhm' when hitting the exact sweetspot....

as per ur experience and age, i m guessing u play tennis more thn 20yrs?

so beginner starts tennis bcox of their favorite player, some for the racket/gears, and some others family etc....

most important is to get a coach to teach u the basic. Same like doing everything, once u got a good foundation; is much faster to improve and progress.... one to one coaching is good or in group is also fun...

i heard from my friend Duta V.Selvam serves all kinda training... group wise i heard is u pay one fee u can as many time as u can in a week. Selvam is msia history best pro ever. Coaching also good. And most important is u r interested and willing learn (to be frank, tennis for beginner is quite boring... mistake, pick ball etc more than playing). However, when u can hit well, its a extremely fun game.

I dont think starting off with 90eq racket would be good for beginners, it's too demanding, I used to start off with k6.1 tour and i just kept framing the racket, not forgetting the heavy weight too
*
bro, our friend got 95, so not so skill demanding. racket strung weight is 325g, but swing weight is lighter than that.

hope he can cope...

i dont have n6.1 tour.... but i played with n-code, k-factor and BLX 6.1team...

k-factor has bigger sweetspot, lighter swing weight, more powerfull thn n-code...

blx is almost similar to k-factor with very dampened feel when ball contact.

Hahaha!! from your statement, the beginner man thing is a skill and may consider last weapon to used when losing. This beginner skill might be very effective against unfit players or certain good players who prefer fast pace balls.

@kevin
This might be the tips to beat those players as mention by vobs. Put every balls in by all mean necessary to stay alive in a tournament! By slicing, lopping balls, weird balls or whatever as long it goes in the court. Sometimes those good players also get confuse and when their nervous get to them. Its a 50- 50% chance wining match d.
*
Moonball strategy???!!! It works on good players.... againts good and experience player sometime dont ... but it is also a good strategy....

if every ball gives u moonball to the base line then c how many can u whack... and how long can u whack... thats y we have counter puncher players on tour... the famous one was hewittl, he managed to win wimby and USO with counter puncher strategy....
