QUOTE(tiangkim @ Dec 26 2010, 10:13 PM) aiyoo... boss vobs, i love sensation..... aldy got so many from you what..... haha yeah no problem.....i guess im the only one selling multi at this moment.....i also decided days ago that im gonna go back to full bed multi for my weapon as poly does not go well with my arm and feel. thats me la:) but young people like the LYN players should be able to take advantage of the poly benefits hehejust wanna know what other choices...... actually, u, kev, inv mainly sell poly... how come not so many multi choice??? between, i tried volkl (voltron?) multi just now... nice..... very soft, extremely good feel, and very spinning as well........ |

QUOTE(tiangkim @ Dec 26 2010, 10:26 PM) actually, i love full bed multi... i only tried full NXT b4, still my best choice... it gives u FEEL, control, comfort at certain extend the pop u need..... but just too costly, string moving like snake, snap quickly.... thats the main reasons i hybrid it..... i might be bringing in Sensation NXT 17g havent tried full sensation b4, my wild guess is maybe 70% like NXT??!! what other multi u tried n wud like to try???? of course the strings i wanna try is natural gut, very curious, and even more costly....unless i suddenly found it on the court where someone left it there la:) This post has been edited by vobs: Dec 26 2010, 10:30 PM |

QUOTE(praetorian @ Dec 29 2010, 11:27 AM) :-( I am just saying may be in the future, your skills kick up a notch,(very high chance, longer you play more consistent and fitter you will get..) irregardless of what frame you are using, pick up a Pro Staff since you have 1, (in the future more , KIPAS X100) then evaluate your stroke, naturally you need to give the stick a chance, say 2 weeks.....unless you 'click' with the racket lah..... then from Pro Staff jump to a kfactor..... muahaha, finally found free wifi in Bali after 4 days here...Why do I stick with the k6.1 tour....its because you can easily customize it CLOSE to the specification of a Pro's stick...and the most important thing, (for me anyway) is its MASS distribution its very close to the Pro Staff's if you can't find a St Vincent , this is close to the next best thing. KPS 88 plays more closely to the St Vincent Pro Staff, but the Mass distribution is off by quite alot. The quality ,playability of rackets then , are much more better than most of the rackets with *ahem* newer technology. btw I just saw the video, was that vobs that screwed up the high backhand angle drop shop volley....I think I saw a APDGT.....who was playing may I ask? Yes bro prae, I'm using apdgt now....if I knw ppl taking videos I shouldve worn my best clothings hehe. I've tested enough on polys, back to my sensation multi, who want my poly please pm me...clearing it:) Bali really throw price on off-off season tennis apparrels, got myself an adidas tennis tshirt for rm50 climacool material.... And mind u the Ralph Lauren polo n polo haus dam cheap... Not sure ori or not but it's sold in boutiqes and the material seems well combed... Who's playing this sat and sun? |

QUOTE(ckseong80 @ Jan 3 2011, 09:00 PM) Just got my freshly strung PDGT ; ) i heard there are imitations:) no wonder ur fire is not up when u use those strings:) just my 2 sen guess, i am wrong:)As usual using xfireII but this time imported from TW. I notice the strings look newer than those I used previously. The Kevlar side has a more obvious clear coating on it with Ashaway marked on it. Those that were bought locally can hardly see this, maybe once and 6 or 7 times stringing but never as clear as this time. Perhaps it's still the better grade stuff is sold to the American market. QUOTE(praetorian @ Jan 5 2011, 09:46 AM) What grip are you using for your forehand now? wah not easy to put it in words hope u can understand. I tried semi western, eastern n conti...all 3 seems ok for me....What are your findings on your forehand when using different grips? Do tell :-D My 2 sen view Is 1) semi western: I can impart more spinny and loopy shots thus less uerror, but will tire my arm faster due to the twist action I need to create spin...using this during matches 2) eastern: flatter hit and won't tire my arm due to classic motion without any arm twist....more uerror if not careful 3) conti: flat classic, use for feeding balls now trying eastern adding some twisting action whenever spin is required so wat do u tink bro Prae....I like all at different situation thts y I hv dilemma haha |

QUOTE(lelucky @ Jan 5 2011, 03:42 PM) for whatever grips u have, work on the technics rather that try different grips., my 2 cents opinion Thnx for the reply but I'm not worried bout technical side....just hv dilemma on choosing one cos both works well for me....I m sure u guys have seen wrong/weird kind of grips but if it works for him, why not. I have seen one where he uses semi western but he hit with the other side of racquet frame. weird huh... it's nt weird, it's just technique;) Thnx bro Prae for the simple and sound advice:) This post has been edited by vobs: Jan 5 2011, 07:11 PM |
