whahahaha... u really have 6th sense.... i m serving quite flat all the while.. 1st serve strong, 2nd just enough to get in; ball bounce slow.... sometime is feeder....

not until only last TUE i started to serve slice on 1st, (especially on deuce crt, i m righty). i dont know if it works well, but i cut the ball slightly on the right side when toss with more speed... i think d ball skid out left.... fed starts to use tht lately but i m amazed by nad ad crt serve, bring ur opponent out from crt, aft tht the whole single crt belong to u.... fh winner, volley up to ur choice.... another good example is llodra....

the 2nd serve i brush more on ball back surface, the ball bounce higher... but not tht well as high as i wish... obj: i think is harder for opp to return and more spin more margin error....

is this the right technics to serve slice n kick? n r these the main reason player to this??

i watched fuzzyyellowball before but cant really understand....

i think he admitted he copy roddick serve...
just my opinion below:

best ever: undisputed pistol pete; d speed, angle, kick, slice he has is phenomenon

becker: boom boom... hes d one who introduce big serve to the world and eventually youngest ever wimbledon champ... if chang didn't break in RG, boom boom still hold the record...

Goran: what is nice and smooth motion, the lefty power slice n kick... won him the people's champ and very very thank god tht he won one wimby anyway... wild card somemore... thats nothing more u can ask from the god.

edberg: just like his mr. nice guy image, class and glamor....

Fed aka d king: i wud second him after pistol pete!!! everything d same except pete has more pop!

Stich: Smooth, simple and looks like effortless serve.... i actually learn from the way he serve.....

nadal: i believe no 1 won more point on ad crt thn him!!!! Monster kick... our captain carto is mini nadal!!!! carto serve one in CTO III which went over my racket, ACE!!!!

QUOTE(darky @ Oct 29 2010, 07:17 AM)
sorry didn't explain properly. what i meant was the serve has no power at all, it lands maybe 2 inches in front of the net? if stand near the baseline, the ball has so low power it didn't really bounce high, and gotta rush to the net to sorta 'scoop' the ball back into play. this happens especially during 2nd serve where some ppl tend to serve very weak.
*
i play with one lady whom serve very weak, bounce very low and bout few feet after net.... if bounce low, u can really whack cox mostly will go into net... stand closer to the service line, spin the ball to let it goes high over the net, serve is slow and low, so spin and make sure u can go close to his/her baseline. Since is a weak shot, u can go corner and penetrate into deep court to control his/her position... then can go to attack the net as his/her will b in difficult position to return deep and corner ball.....

in case, he/she suddenly serve strong but u r standing quite front, dont worry, u can block/slice back his/her serve back, just make sure return is not short enough to let them kill....

hope it helps... laugh.gif

another clue is to read his serve motion.... weak serve normally is slow in motion....
