Usually, I go to the PVP channel IF the mobs are nearby the town. Mobs like Magician Hypit, Paunus Patrol, Wild Dark Beast etc
As for getting green items, currently I'm using my other characters to kill Mad Locke

Started yesterday and i here i would like to ask for some advise from those who played this job.

i) What skill build is good?
ii) The disamble system how does it work? Where to get that "Tools"?

the rest of the thing i will continue to explore myself as i m still new.

But the dungeon part, really was a pain in the ass.
i tried solo hypit, end up i give up after 1 minutes.
died within 10 sec.... hahaha~ now lvling at gold mine there.

Btw, my online time is around 9.00pm onwards.

Last but not least is there any LYN guild?

Currently lvl 40 capped

hmm..... how long does it take to reach level 40?
any of you hit that level?

Can reach lvl 40 if you play the whole day for less than a week. I started to play the moment OBT was open. Can reach level 10 within a few hours provided you do all the quest.

I'm currently level 20 only haha

I was putting quite a high hope on the game months ago.
But when I first started to play it, to my surprise, I couldn't rotate my view to any angle, which is a bit....., well, not too bad actually. Just that building, surrounding are 3D, characters look 3D, but the lack of rotating the view doesn't make it a 3D game. So, I consider this as a 2D? Or is there a way to rotate your view to any angle in game?

The gameplay is definitely not bad, considered the RvR is held several hours once, so there is no timezone issue for those staying in Asia.

I think even if you can rotate it might still be "2d", 3d should enable you do go in 6 directions, like front back left right up and down. From the screenshots it looks like you can go in 4 directions only.

But oh well each person will have his / her own view what is 3d or what is not.

You can actually move in 6 directions

Ragnarok Online is a 2.5D as the surrounding is 3D but the character design and mob design are 2D.
The character in Legend of Edda is definitely designed in 3D, look at the 3D model in the character creation screen.

easy to reach and just go for RvR.

Yes, the 2nd job advancement is available. I'm about to get my new title as a Priest but a lil lazy to finish up the quest *ahem*


Can't rotate the camera angle. You'll get used to it soon. Also, I read somewhere that even the original Korean game doesn't have rotatable camera angle.


I'm not sure whether we could get exp from RvR. At one point, I believed I leveled up after joining a RvR session but I can't say for sure coz I didn't pay attention to it @_@
The only to find out is to join the RvR session and take screen shot before and after the war.

P/S: I tried Iris Online CBT, and I prefer Edda more. Sure, Iris has nice graphic bla bla bla but the game text/font is annoying. I feel so lost playing the game as the NPC offers quest up to 2 levels from your current one. Level 1 mobs are pretty strong haha
