I went to jalan ampang service centre but they told me it's a burnt fuse instead... had it change but the smell is still there when i rev the engine to 4k rpm... guess i hav to print out the article and teach them how to do it =/

my elder bro is planning to get a M2, what do u guys think about this car? the hp n fc is it ok? full tank how much?

when i went for test drive the other day, i felt that at 2000 - 3000 rpm range, the power dips a bit before picking up again.. a bit of a disappointment at that part, as my mom's honda city, which is also a 1.5L engine, doesnt have that drop in power. and the M2 is supposed to have a lighter body some more.. where did the loss of power go?

apart from that range, then power delivery is pretty good.. not exactly underpowered..

I think it is depends to your luck, any car brand also might have some issues.

Get this to tribunal court, i think there is a M3 owner also brought his issue to tribunal. Pedal vibrating if i'm not mistaken..

Reading M3 owners topic makes me scare, in my mind.. Mazdas are good in build quality and so on..
Maybe sales getting better.

Till now still holding back on my car purchase, m3 2.0, Forte 2.0 and the upcoming Avante..
If it's not because of m3 now is CKD, i've already bought the m3

I'm already used to the stiffness.. But it's been almost half a year me and my wife did not drive it on highway. Only in Penang island.. Highway with stiff suspension makes me 

i dunno a massive recall or just driver who notice tat problem...but i can confirm u...ur car they already change...my car as well...hehehe...eventho i dun have the problem...

Actually wan to go for 3M but they dun have safety film. So will consider Llumar 4mil safety film n darker colour. Haha!

Bro, thanks for ur reply. Changed steering rack and intermittent shaft seem major problems to me!! I'm not familiar with the terms u mentioned here. Like what Leinnz suggested to change the absorber will it solve the problem??

When I collected my gen-2 7 years ago, I faced this knocking sound problem too. Very frustrating! Went to consumer tribunal. Still couldnt solve it. Haha..at the end have to live with it as u said!!

mine is above the middle gauge between 1K and 2K rpm.

sure, no problem! for me, I will say that is bigger than the 'original' 1 lo! that is leather with sponge inside so will be feel more comfort la (personal opinion)!I think it wound void the warranty 1 cause it doesn't touch any electronic part! sorry ar, a bit messy!

Anyone here change their M2 tyres to 195/55/15 with stock rims? Will it look weird v outer side wall? Thinking to change the stock Dunlop tyres to Michelin ps3 195/55/15 for more stable ride during highway speeding. M2 really can run. Haha!!!

Any recommend anywhere can get nice arm rest? wanna change mine which is lousy 1...
