Ok, wait. shahz has an SGS?????? WTH dude? You owe us a review.  laugh.gif

I've made it my policy that whenever I notice a salesman is more interested in talking about why I shouldnt buy brand x rather than explaining to me why I should buy his product, I'll just thank him for his time and move on. That type of salesperson doesnt deserve my hard earned cash and he's a total failure in my books. This would explain why I'll never buy anything from kentang_peranchis (or any of his dupes).

This reminds me of a thread I read on XDA not too long ago about an incompetent salesperson. Unlike shahz who decided not to counter punch the guy, this particular person went the opposite route and bashed the poor salesgirl to pieces. End result, he got thrown out of the by the store manager. The subject in hand : iPhone4 vs Nexus 1.  brows.gif
You can read it here:-

The post spawned 10-pages worth of arguments discussing whether the OP was being a drama queen or the salesgirl was just asking for it for not knowing her product well enough. Fun read if you have time to kill. wink.gif

I agree with the fact about the commission percentage too. That is why its very hard to find a reliable sales person. I had a friend John Lim in LowYat whom I always approached for tech talks. He would never be biased and he hardly sold stuff from his own shop to me. He was the best sales person I ever met in the whole LowYat. Alas, too bad, he has quit his job and now works with a bank sad.gif That bank is really lucky to have a person like him working with them.
Yes, nowdays very hard to find a good salesman which is not money minded. Good salesman usually very poor in his sales figure. Because he is telling the truth too much.

and salesman should analyze buyer needs, and fits in product according to needs, not just banging other brands. and in the end the choice is from the buyer/customer

Depends on how you take it actually..To me, if the salesman tells the truth and is honest to me, I would trust him more and in the future buy from him again..Not to mention, encourage my friends to buy from im too..That John Lim, although he didn't recommend me anything from his shop (since he was working in BenQ which later upgraded to Toshiba), god knows how much stuff I bought from him - for myself and my friends..

Honesty is indeed the best policy..
