Thank you Tyenfei and theBigO for your quick response. Do I have to flash the sbf again afterwords or just go to sd recovery do a factory reset and wipe data( dalvik cache?) and restore the rom only.

Added on April 8, 2011, 4:30 pmSorry guys I forgot to mention that I can not get into the call settings at all. Any idea how to get that solved? Or would the rom restoring be the solution for that too?
Bthw. My Quadrant score on this rom is 1490.

wan to clarify something. there is 2 ways to flash a ROM
1) nandroid + fixed sbf
2) zip + full sbf

am i right?

but there are also cases that use nandroid+fixed sbf+ zip right?

Hi Defies,

My defy is still having self rebooting and hanging issues though the authorised technician have fixed my earlier problems.
Any of you guys having similar problems?
Thanks.
Anyway, despite the issues,I really love my Defy :-)

what is your earlier problem???

btw, self rebooting issues usually cause by software unstable or hardware overheat. hmm.gif

so, try factory reset your phone again. and also monitor your GPS / Wifi off when u not using it smile.gif

I have a few issues with reboot also when using Liquid Arc. Try to uninstall the apps you downloaded and see if it reboot again. For my case, i downloaded some scrollable apps that is not supported by the launcher thus causing reboots.
