For those who are interested in changing the earpiece themselves...u can get the part here. www.enjoys.com.my Sony Ericsson K500i earpiece can be use but minor modification needed. Sounds from the earpiece is clear and loud. So far no issues. cos i found that i underutilized my iphone 4 after i bought the ipad. So sold iphone 4 and get an android.
I dun need iphone 4 function. Android is as good as iOS.
Bought the defy at SGD370 new set. sold iphone 4 32GB at SGD950.
So far i found android quite good and defy is smaller and lighter than IP4. more importantly, it's tough and i dun need to worry so much if i drop it.
still very new to android, so need help from sifu if i need help.

Fair enough. Defy is a very good choice for a mid-range phone....able to hold itself against some high end phone. SGD370 from a forumer in hardwarezone. starhub set. Get a defy from starhub from recontract, the he switched on the phone and check. found that it's android 2.1. then he put back in the box and put on sale in forum.
I guess market price in SG can get a really brand new one for about SGD 430-450.
