Motorola defy come with KODAK Perfect Touch ~

maxis launch Motorola Defy
rm1299 for 12 months contract and rm999 for 24 months contract

but they don allow me to extend my contract and get this... poor me... still have 8 months to run...
but i'm allowed to extend my contract with iphone... so in dilemma... stick with my wildfire and wait for LG dual core or jump ship...

quite expensive considering you still tied to a contract. for 24 months it should have been free.

kodak perfect touch software is just for picture enhancement, not much settings can be done, or its just that i havent explore everything in the phone yet.

well bro... this is Malaysia...
the all the price is discounted price for tying on the contract... not free...

RM 1299 I add another RM 50 or so I get an unlocked phone.

i believe maxis set is unlocked as well.

But you have to sign the 12 month contract.

Ill informed of me for the first part.

the downside is you gonna be stuck with the contract, but not stuck with the phone. you can always get a new phone and use the same plan.

Do you use navigation often?

Google maps now has 5.0 version with offline caching of maps if you want to check it out.

Already updated google maps, but I normally use third party gps app with built in map so no need to depend on data connection.

din expect motorola to launch this phone here so soon...is froyo available for it already?

Are you using Papago X5?

I am using the trial right now, not bad, just that the suggested route seems weird once in a while, like there is a fly over built mainly for the road below to ease traffic but the Papago will direct you to the road below instead.

I'm currently tied with iphone plan which will last till March 2011... and i'm interested to get the HD7.. but Maxis doesn't allow me to extend my contract... reason given is because both are different package... the only way to get the HD7, i have to terminate the iphone plan which i will need to pay for the penalty and admin charge...

if u buy the hd7, u will be tied to another contract, when the time comes there will be a better phone and u wanna upgrade again. and the cycle continues...

haha... true also....
that's why i cancelled my initial plan...
i just wanna try out the new os from ms....
