may i suggest who ever here that still on stock rom do a nandroid backup and put it in the 1st post

price for brand new singapore defy around $450

Just flashed to Froyo yesterday night. After almost 1 day of usage, i can conclude that:

1. very minor difference in performance in terms of menu and homescreen fluidity
2. Flash works, but some site doesnt.
3. Wifi signal improved i think. Previously its pretty hard to maintain wifi signal in my room, now i have no problems with coverage throughout my whole house with speedtest giving 20~30ms ping and 2~3 dl/ul with my 10mbps Unifi line.
4. GPS signal weaker i think. Haven't really tested this out yet but time it takes to lock onto a sat is longer. Haven't really tested it properly yet, just a simple test with gpstest while outdoors
5. I miss the old moto connected music player! The lyrics works better than the Tunewiki lyrics. Plus the connected music player already have song recognition built in.
6. Quadrant speeds increased quite a lot but Neocore is pretty much exactly the same at 41~fps.
7. Black notification bar looks way better
8. new animations looks cooler too

Anyone got this issue before? 

You can see the call but cannot pickup the call; meaning, you can't slide the green button to pick up the call. in fact, the touchscreen does not work and only the power button seems to be responding.

i'm using 2.51 local set.

and what if someone called while putting the phone in a water,does the ringtone work while on water ?no damage to speaker and mic ?

already watched it.not bad,but what if someone called while the phone was on water,will the ringtone sound ?just curious ,
and how come the price is quite cheap compared to others ..for such a good  longer lasting phone

guys, i rooted and installed a custom recovery, but forgot to back up the original rom. now i've installed a nandroid recovery of JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1. but now i cannot play any mp3, or use mp3 for alarm or ringtones. helppp

Bro, mind sharing the price and where you got it from? Is this much better than not having any screen protector on? I mean, the DEFY's screen in Corning's Gorilla Glass..... (i know it is not scratch proof, but it does take a lot of beating before you can see scratches....)
