Guys, unifi contractor in my backyard now. wanna ask, they say if need to route the fibre upstairs to my 1st floor room need to pay extra. Approx RM150 or more for charges. they say TM only provides for 3m of FREE fibre length. After that it will be non-free.

If anyone sees this, please answer soonest possible.

Horizontal length is unlimited woh. So, from the backyard green box to the home premise is borne by telekom, if 200m also nevermind. But vertical, once go up the wall, will be limited to 3m.

They have a order frm which states something like that. I take pic upload later.

Sorry ah, all these acronyms is new to me.

thanks to all, I've got my operator password changed. (1 day old unifi user)
speed is quite OK lah (am very happy actually. FB video no need to buffer. etc..etc.. upload speed is good.. 2+MB/s to 4+MB/s from speedtest)

Operator account, 7.05b, i do not see any vlan tagging leh.

Added on October 10, 2010, 5:05 amhmm... my vlan ID is different from the athena's site.. it's 500 and 600 not 500 and 700..

wan 1 = router = 500, VLAN Priority = 1
wan 2 = bridge = 600, VLAN Priority = 5

Less than 1 day and the STB is fried. Just came back from Nike 10/10/10 run turn the STB And managed to watch like 5min of stuffs then KAPUT. no power alry. Called up the center and have to wait for technician to come. Sigh....
