QUOTE(gamerfantasy @ Oct 11 2010, 04:58 PM) Using the TM net DIR 615 G2 router with the 7.05B firmware. Works ok for first few days then starts giving wireless drops even frm range of 10m away. Called TM, they came and change the router to a new 1, better than before but still no hope if under internet heavy load at distances further than 10m. u go first page find unifi handbook website..there teach u how to bridgeSo I thought of using my 3year++ linkys wrt300n V1 router but i duno hw configure vlan taggin on it. Conclusion, tmnet routers are not stable either because of its custom firmware or this D-Link models arent as good. |

![]() mine is kota damansara cova suite near segi uc... usin wireless adapter...hampir hampir reach 5mbps..>< Added on October 26, 2010, 2:25 am QUOTE(UserU @ Oct 26 2010, 12:19 AM) Yes, installed via CD. But I'm nonplussed that Aztech uses RALINK software? hmm...wat the model of ur aztech wireless adapter..Nope. CD contents shows RALINK. Downloaded it from MY/ SG site, and its still RALINK(albeit warned about possible infections) I think the somewhat 'backdoor' program causes my CPU power consumption to spike up, which I realized that this happens during disconnections. Does the speed of the broadband have any impact on PC performance? This post has been edited by djhenry91: Oct 26 2010, 02:25 AM |

QUOTE(sher88 @ Nov 6 2010, 01:01 PM) i just got my unifi installed yesterday! I'm loving it~~ Download speeds are amazing!! Downloaded an 800MB file in less than 25minutes! I used to have a streamyx 1MB plan which was horrible... Speeds didn't even reach 700kbps! It was always around 500-600 only... if u turn off tht wan..I have a question, I'm no techie... haha... Can I switch off my unifi modem and that white tall unit when not in use? Don't wanna waste energy and I'm worried that they might overheat... u cant dial or receive any call... |
