Tell more.
Some people already had FTTH service installed.

Bear in mind, i remember it was only few months they planted wire, last month installed fibre distribution point, and now my housing area got people subscribe Maxis FTTH.

I think it is fast enough in terms of implementation.  laugh.gif

The price you told me, what is the speed?

RM 118 for 6 Mbps.

Quota : 40 GB

Unlimited calls to Maxis fixed lines, 500 minutes of calls to Maxis mobile number and 200 minutes of IDD to Singapore, USA, HK and China.
*
A lot cheaper but much lower quota.. hmm.gif

Can you bear with it? lol

My plan...? Oh....I rather not count my chickens before they hatch. I keep my network-ed plans at bay cuz I have substitute/alternative movements in case if plan does not go right. =)Think of my plan as a spider web...wanna know?

Er, not sure.

He told me that the speed will reduce to 1 Mbps after exceeding quota (40 GB).

I can bear with it, because my current ADSL speed is 2 Mbps.

Therefore, i can get to enjoy 6 Mbps (download/upload) by paying a little more and if exceed, would be similar to current ADSL plan speed, so i am ok.

Right now, we had to pay RM 100 for 1 Mbps (upgraded to 2 Mbps).
*
Wow, if that's really the case I can certainly bare with the 1mbps caps. nod.gif

Too bad lah, I've already subscribe to unifi and apparently my area doesn't support Maxis also. So either way, I won't have a chance of getting it. doh.gif

The guy told me that Maxis IPTV is still undergoing testing.

Maybe i can get Maxis IPTV in future.

Note : If the content provider for Maxis IPTV is Astro (you know they are related lol), i am going to cut Astro subscription.
*
Definitely a wise move. So your installation on Monday what time?

Maybe 10 am.

I need to standby and i hope installation will take less than 8 hours.

I think good deal, add RM 18 over my subscription, i get FTTH  laugh.gif
*
Haha.. eh when you're done with installation, post some pics la I also want to see the equipments

I can see more and more people subscribe Unifi.

Sure, there is quota, but i guess for now, there is "need for speed"  laugh.gif
*
Yeah, getting more and more people as they expand their coverage. I certainly need that speed, but I'm quite concerned with the security and reliability issues now.

I think if you can find and woo her, then good  smile.gif
Such as?

VOIP was down mainly due to TM using a default password for all BTUs which results in high jacking, and corrupted downloads. That's what I understand for now.

go buat bamboo cannon. Follow Mythbuster's style. End with a bang
Well,

(A)after completing 1 year, take on the offer from my ex Manager in Park Royal as Guest Service Exec. If that goes well, I'll sink my feet in and grow from there. I limit myself to 1 year max must climb up the ladder. If this is a failure(subjected to terms and condition of work place, politics and so on). I'll go to option ©

(B) take on a new industry, opening team of a new restaurant in Mont Kiara as Operation Management Trainee. From there, improvise and branch out to many new outlets. Its going to be a night club though. If so happens, this plan is not executed by CNY, then I go to option (A)

©go back and help my dad to open a consulting firm. Then if this is a success, in two years, I'll move on to Option (D).

(D)Masters in Hospitality Management. 1 year course. After that, sink myself into Events/Sales in a well known hotel. If not probably go to (E)

(E)Seek Events Management/Marketing management job, in regardless in hotel or the industry itself. Grow from bottom, but its already a risk I have to take. If I were to route to here using (D), prolly I'd be able to stabilize faster.

(F) If option A, B, D or E fails, I'd take on double degree in Psychology and Marketing. That makes me...err....a geek.
Memang la....aku tidak terbabit dalam hal ehwal buaya-mem-buaya-ing ini. Lol.
Oh...Ms Wen~

Corrupted download is annoying.

Still, you have to subscribe  smile.gif

Afterall, soon after might be resolved.
Too bad  sad.gif

However, Monash got a number of fine girls too  smile.gif

I was in Kampar, i saw a good mix of girls.
*
Yeah, I believe they have to resolve the corrupted download issue eventually.

What is the speed after quota  hmm.gif

You get IPTV though.  smile.gif
hmm.gif
Well, for some people, high maintenance actually means high demanding.  smile.gif

I have absolutely no idea on the speed after the quota. No one mention about that in unifi thread. But honestly, if they capped it to 1mbps I sure don't mind.
