Recharge is a new transdermal gel designed to give an instant boost of caffeine by simply rubbing it into your hands or selected areas. Each sachet of recharge contains 65mg of caffeine to give you the needed boost at home, at the office and at the gym.

Caffeine mobilizes fat stores and encourages working muscles to use fat as a fuel. This delays the depletion of muscle glycogen and allows for a prolongation of exercise. Besides that it will help to burn more fats and very effective for weight loss. The critical time period in glycogen sparing appears to occur during the first 15 minutes of exercise, where caffeine has been shown to decrease glycogen utilization by as much as 50%. Glycogen saved at the beginning is thus available during the later stages of exercise. Caffeine has been use widely for athlete to boost their energy and performance.

Hi guys,

Just wanna point out few arguments that has been raised.

1) Drinking coffee/espresso, I do agree with just drinking it but with a transdermal gel you can apply on targeted areas.

2) "Furthermore caffeine pills give you 150-200MG" Well once this 150 or 200 mg is consumed, your body will only absorb 50-40% depending on individual.

3) " Also caffeine takes about 45 minutes to absorb fully" Transdermal only takes few min's to be absorbed into the bloodstream

4) Recharge would also not damage the liver as it is going into the bloodstream. (bypass the stomach)

i am merely just pointing out few of the advantages. I would be more than happy to clear any doubt. This product has been used in the UK for quite sometime already.

I also appreciate all the feedback (negative & positive)

caffeine mobilizes fat. Therefore being transdermal you can apply it anywhere where u wanna target to lose weight or even to tone your muscles. We have sponsored mens health mag for their refine & define program where participants used the product and majority of them liked it and said it did help alot in their work out.

HAHAHA straight to the point

"majority like it and it helped a lot in their workout", sure caffeine increase mental focus but none of your posts supports the spot reduction bullcrap (apply it anywhere where u wanna target to lose weight or even to tone your muscles) u got to be joking .

Glycogen is the principal fuel for muscles and exhaustion occurs when it is depleted. A secondary fuel, which is much more abundant, is fat. As long as there is still glycogen available, working muscles can utilize fat. Caffeine mobilizes fat stores and encourages working muscles to use fat as a fuel. This delays the depletion of muscle glycogen and allows for a prolongation of exercise.

Please do some research before posting "smart" comments. It does not make u look smart..

yea sure copy pasting from a source ( http://www.rice.edu/~jenky/sports/caffeine.html) makes u extra smart. and having zero real world experience and probably don't look like you lifted a weight is very convincing as well.

The crowd here is more well informed than u thought maybe u can try your product with individuals looking for quick fixes , like the um "I will eat that cake and start my diet tomorrow" crowd. your snake oil like supplement will sell i guarantee.

What i said was do some research, i did not say i did this study myself. And this is an actual study. What is the internet for my friend. Do u know how much it costs to do a study? and you are talking about real world experience.

Well informed? i think you are just bored and are looking for opportunities to make yourself look smart. Come on la dude. i am just saying that this product was tested and if you like i can arrange for some samples to be sent to you. at the end of the day i am just looking for feedback not blatant flaming. Have a healthy discussion and not offend anyone. We are all grownups.

Btw this product is brought in by a friends company and i was just curious if you guys were into this type of product, because hydroxycut also uses caffeine.

Cheers.

Fat is stored in certain areas because of hormones. Hormones control the fat storage areas in our body. This is proven in Poliquin's Biosignature course, and he shows how to manipulate the fat in these areas with herbal extracts and minerals as well as regulation of mental health to control cortisol secretion which then leads to fat storage around the midsection.

Now if you're saying that caffeine is able to activate lipolysis in specific areas, bypassing our hormones merely by plastering a caffeine patch, can you show some research? Granted, caffeine has plenty of health benefits as well as performance benefits. My own friend has done a research checking correlation between the effects of caffeine and creatine to the athletes performance, and there's a POSITIVE correlation. However, I've NEVER heard about caffeine TARGETING fat stores. Activates fat burning hormones, thermogenesis...agreed completely. But spotting. Nope. Never read of any papers that shows that.

Perhaps you could point out these papers so we could do some studies.

Hi bro i like the way you put things, now this is a healthy discussion.

first of all i think you guys have gone way into spot reduction, the reason i say this is because it could be applied anywhere on the body. The difference when consumed is that caffeine goes into the stomach and liver then into the bloodstream. Which naturally is distributed around the body. But with transdermal dont you think it will have more effect when applied directly on to the area. Yes it will be distributed around the body via the bloodstream but dont you think the concentration of caffeine would be higher if you target the area?

study:
A study conducted at the federal University of the State of Rio Janeiro, under the leadership of Omar Lupi, demonstrated the slenderizing benefits of caffeine. These study has been published in the Journal of cosmetic dermatology.

A cream containing more of a caffeine percentage was effective in reducing upper and lower thighs borderlines as well as hip measurements.

Now a cream has been develop and produce that might be effective in slenderizing thighs and hips. Primarily the cream contains 7% of caffeine solution. This cream has been actually tested in a study of 99 female who use and applied the cream twice a day for a month, for at least 30 days. The test measures the subjects' upper and lower thigh and hip border line before beginning and end of the study. Results have shown that at the end of the study, 80% of the subjects who took part in the experiement showed decrease in the thigh area border line. The more pleasing thing is that at least 68% of these females also showed reduction in the hips area measurements.
-end-

The research also state that this is not a wonder drug and that if coupled with working out will help significantly

-sorry for the long reply-

No. What research do you have to back up the bolded statement? As for the study, females generally have more fat in the thighs and hips whereas for males the fat are usually deposited at the tummy area. No matter what fat burner/ caffeine product/ transdermal thingy you use (provided its the real thing) teamed with exercise and the proper diet, you're bound to lose fat, not only at the thighs and hips as given in your example, but everywhere else too, so obviously for females the thigh and hips areas will show decrease in measurements. Your study only shows that the product promotes fat loss, not specific targeted area fat loss, which is called the spot reduction myth, which you do not have any study to back up. Just type in spot reduction in google and see what do you get.

Bro that was not a statement, It was more of a discussion. and yes i do agree that exercise and proper diet will make u lose weight. but my question is why do people still take protein and other supplements to help in their work out? this is just merely a booster and will help in the same way. i dont think i need to mention the benefits of caffeine in workouts as you guys already know most of it.

dont make this thread a argument, lets make it a discussion.
