QUOTE(Deimos Tel`Arin @ Sep 8 2010, 10:44 AM) oooh thanks! i just finish watching my latest replay. i think my average APM is 70. let me watch another one. that round lasted 22 minutes. cannon rush turned into zerg containment match. i watched another one. against terran. cannon rush success gua since he lift up his base and cabut. 7 minutes 47 seconds 61 average APM. try use a non-cheese build n see how much apm u can go usually tat way is more accurate because your apm also consist of commanding armies n building them

why la u guys worry so much abt apm. as long as u macro/micro very well in the game. ull do very good. and ur apm will increase steadily as u learn more abt the game.
play more = learn more = do more stuffs = apm increases.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Sep 8 2010, 10:20 AM) still doesnt changes the fact you need to be at a "minimum" level of apm. your macro requires actions, your micro also requires actions. nuff said. well apm are overrated... u can see some pros have low average apm as they used the waypoints etc rather than pressing unneededly... during battles u can see their current apm spike up to 300... as u naturally get better in the game, ur apm would increase itself naturally... rather than trying to force it...

300+ APM really spam for me... I think around 200 or so should be enough for pro gaming... For myself, i onyl doing around 30 apm lolzzz! I think its sufficient, for my level, my friends were doing 100 plus minus but still i was able to beat him 1 on 1... APM is not everything

APM not so important , pls dont stress too much on apm. Strategy more important o,o , how ever it is VERY important at PRO level . Especially if u play SC BW in ICCUP then u noe , u need apm more then 100 to even survive thru low level D ranks . Anyhow i know many msians dont play Brood War cuz they say graphics sux , even my frens say so. But one thing they duno tat sc BW is so hard and meantime exciting play too. If u guys played wc, u may know this pro elf nicked APM70. He always maintain his apm at around 70 and yet he was among the best player in the world back then.
So AMP doesn't really matter... just click whenever it is necessary.
