micro and macro = apm. if ur under 50 avg, then you're not going far.
avg good players at least got over 50 to well over 100. progamers as you can see are well over 100 and koreans are at least around 150-200++

sc2 apm count is a lot different than say, sc:bw, where spamming right clicks like a retard will not add to it LOL
of course, there are ways to abuse the counter (having a shit ton of grouped probes and spamming selection of them for example lol) but lets be honest here, why cheat the system? who are you convincing that you're not slow on apm? your opponent that you're about to lose to? lol.
