Actually there is no such official or unofficial japanese or NA server, in every server japanese and NA are biggest community because they are main target customer of SE, just their prime time are different. I think currently taiwanese, hong-kong, australian/sg etc only involved 5-15% population among all players in these each unofficial 'region' server.

Not matter which server u go, as long as we are playing at 6pm-12pm, we will face more than 80% players are japanese. A few japanese post in forums claimed that certain servers belonged to japanese server and told non-japanese keep away from them, i feel they behaved very stupid and childish because majority japanese will not read anything on forums but randomly choose a server after install the game, so does NA player, they don't care which server they go because they are able to find a lots of players speak same language with them.

However, for small community like non-japanese-speaking oceanic players it is better to gather on same server so that easier to find people level up or do mission together without language barrier.

just out of curious, why don't u guys discuss with singaporean players from gameaxis (i guess that is most famous game forum in sg? ) to combine in same server? scare of drama later? hahahaha

a few people there also start forming guild and recruiting members. When people start to form guild it is difficult to put everyone together because every guild leader have their own mind or feel they are doing fine no need to compromise with other leaders.

That is a reason I want to play FF14 so much because of solo-able and casual contents.  In FF11 I prefer solo or PT with LS member of friends.  I never like to pt with outsiders.  My last moment in FF11 is Field of valor and Campaign lol.

i can see u will be very very rich guy in FF14.

People tend to play solo likely to lv crafting which make a lot of gils for them

i dont know about others but i just want to play casually with friends.. in this case, friends from LYN which i already talked, discussed, socialized even be4 the game begins, so when we meet ingame, its gonna be like; "hi its me darkskies", "oh hey darkskies! this cute neko is wensiang", then its just the 2/3/4 of us venturing eorzea without being tied to any hardcore related stuffs..

even if we're playing with the same malaysians/asians it wont promise us happy ending.. at least that's what happened to my friend's guild in WoW.. all m'sians but not for long..

Actually i mean put malaysian/asian/singaporean in same server not in same guild or linkshell sweat.gif

It's like our real life in school, company or when go shopping, we talk with each other or do something/have fun together by treat everyone with good manner but only become friend or keep in touch with a few persons among them. However we still got chance to study, get a job and salary, being serviced etc but not rejected by excuse of language barrier.

i just dont want to be in a server where english speaking people is like 5 to 10%

This issues arised coz people is talking about which server SEA players should go or voting for unofficial SEA/Msia/SG/Australia server. some players have reason to gather english-speaking people in same server due to their experience of playing at oceanic prime time in FF11.

Is there any difference between promote people to join one guild with join the same server? After all both have same objective: to expand population. sometime, number is power.

Anyway, wish everyone all the best smile.gif
