Just got back my hd2 from sis a couple of days back. Luckily still under warranty as they replaced the whole screen, motherboard and flex cable. Looks like my nand bad blocks have been cured for free My imei also changed to a new number as a result . On another note, i had the feeling that the hd2 users have mostly upgraded their phones to better specced models. Hence, the lack of new roms releases or updates in these few weeks. It's a sad thing to see our hd2 being slowly bypassed even by the regular rom cookers. Looks like we're stuck with gingerbread until we chage up to another phone. QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Apr 12 2012, 10:43 AM) Wah, suddenly become very quiet here. A lot of HD2 users have moved on to newer gadgets.

Finally retired my hd2 about 3 weeks ago. Been a super fun long run with it for the past 3 years with the numerous android and wp 7 roms being flashed in it. Such versatility ...but alas it's time to move o.
Galaxy Note 2 replaces it...and with it comes a big step up in terms of size and performance. HD2 replaces my nokia 5800 as back up nowdays.

QUOTE(girl83 @ Apr 13 2013, 08:31 AM) hows ur experience with HD2 and Note 2? The Note 2 breezes effortlessly through android...really. No stuttering, lagginess nor fc's...in comparison with hd2 running the on android 4.1.2 ...with humongous amount of battery juice available for a whole day of hard use. And it's pretty hard to go back to smaller 4" screens when you've fondled with 5.5 on the note 2. I do miss the dual booting o/s on the hd2 though. Such a versatile piece of hardware unrivalled till today. I don't think there will be another phone created to equal the hd2. Still the king of smartphones when u need wp 7 and android bundled together in one piece.
