just installed n try gingerbread build on my hd2. the rom i using is [23.FEB][DFT/CWM] NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.2 [Android2.3.2][Kernel: tytung_r6_oldcam]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905060overall it a lot smooth than the sense build and the rom size is small.
below are some alternative applications i use to replace the sense.
weather - beautiful widget
dialer - dialer one (the nexus one dialer dont auto match when u press the number)
contact picture - SyncMyPic (able to sync facebook profile picture to contact)
sense - LauncherPro
People - People widget from LauncherPro
Calendar - Calendar widget from LauncherPro
Power Control - Extended Control to get more toggle
outlook appointment sync can use MyPhoneExplorer, so far this is the best outlook sync program i found as it able to sync all the recursive appointment in the outlook calendar
So far battery drain is ok and gps locking also fast.
here is something not so nice
- cant find a gps toggle switch, most of it when u press it then will open the setting page for u to enable/disable it
- mobile data toggle switch mostly use rename apn method to enable/disable. this mean before u use the switch, u need to always connect to ur mobile network first
- more to discover if has.......
