and yeap, voodoo lagfix can be done on any 2.1 firmware .. if u wan something that is even simplier then go market find One Click Lag Fix, which i am using, but take note, OCLF is using ext2 which is not very good compared to voodoo using ext4 .. reasons are a long river story and i am not very sure also ..
addon: OCLF from market includes a SuperUser to root ur file also .. current latest version on xda is 1.6.7 while market is 1.6.5 ... i am running on 1.6.0 didnt plan to update yet coz wanna flash to new fw soom .. and dude, rmb to check if ur phone can go into recovery mode, if yes then u r rather safe to do all "mods", else u need to take risks ...
