guys...i'm using voodoo lagfix...but then my gps cannot lock no more....huhu i reset my gps data in GPS status apps...and then..no more satellites on sight..hahaha..damn..now applying epic4g update.zip...will try later...

IMHO..anyone who can afford to own SGS can afford IP4..but to my liking i prefer SGS (i'm owned 1!!!)..because

1) the display is superior than IP4

2) the user hands on experience based on daily uses..i used to transfer a lot of files to/from my wife hp (XM5800) and my laptop...and can IP4 do that on single or drop/drap?..Nah!!..

i think out of box ip4 wins..but apple is not thinking outside of a box...people need freedom to experiencing on the device...not relying on one particular thing (itunes i mean)..but then..

regarding lag or whatsoever problem in SGS..ofkos is human error in designing..but then design product varies or not 100% perfect..u need improvement..human prone to error..just wait for uncle sammie engineer to rectify those error..

LOL..yeah right..that's the beauty of open source...if the right person did not do the job as required..there will be someone is up to the task

Added on September 29, 2010, 12:42 pmwhat i can see from all those major problem ( GPS and lag) is caused by communication between os/hardware and also because of the filesystem used by samsung in SGS..i'm sure the got solution to it..just be patient...even superman must learned to fly before he became a superhero..hehe

kies sucks....i already gave up update tru it because it will hang halfway..i better download a standalone installer rather than update it...googled and you find where to download it....cheersss

guys..wanna share story with you guys...yesterday i was munching my SGS...searching for satellites after i delete my gps data..pity me...i change my gps setting to skyhook on..and then restart...after that..my phone go mad!!..keep restart...not fully restart i guess..it keep repeating the same activity..show wallpaper > preparing internal card > blank screen > show wallpaper again..its keep repeating...

i done clear chache...install epic4g again ( suspect by gps setting) nothing happen..huhuuh

lastly...i do a factory reset...success...sweat sweat...need to start from square one again..huhuuh..

guys..i'm having trouble connecting to wi-fi...yesterday i wipe my phone and suddenly i cannot connect to wi-fi no more..want to access my google account and download titanium backup...somebody can help me please..

or is it to be a flashman..hahaha

done it..but now..all my apps..cannot start anymore...all have been force close...darn it..how i'm gonna flash it without bricking my phone...aiyaa..i cannot disable voodoo if i cannot access my phone..

nope..i wiped and all my apps are gone except voodoo ofkos because it is not an apps..previously benny888 flash his SGS without disable voodoo and bricked his phone..lalala....now my phone core process all corrupted..walawei...cannot open no more..only have wallpaper and tonnes of FC pop-up...hahaha

thanks kmrdeva..fast reply tho'.hehehe...yesterday i flashed my kernel back to stock FW...back to normal again..now restoring apps and data back to my lovely phone..i'm proud to become owner of this phone..it made me more adventerous..hahaha
