Just a quick question, can I use my own wifi router? Or must use back their stock router? I wanna control my own wifi can ar?

I'm not sure. For Unifi package, there are a lot of very good third party wi-fi routers from Asus and Microtek that can replace the default D-Link router provided by TM. Not sure if there are such a router for Maxis FTTH. If there is, then it will solve the issue of having your modem used as a public Maxis Hotspot.
