Started using maxis ftth 10mbps package 2 weeks ago.
When they come for the installation, they give me the wrong package with 6mb package. Around 1 week they updated my speed back to 10mb.

But when i playing flying spaghetti monster Hon, the Ping is so high (MY & SG server), around 300 to 400, its unplayable, and im having problem with my skype also, my friend say my skype is very spiky, they cant listen to what im talking sometime, but i can listen to them very clearly. (I am the only one using the line, and i didnt try to download anything and nothing is uploading at the same time i using this 2 programs)

Download speed is okay, around 600 to 800.
Speedtest.net having good ping and reasonable down8 up9 result.
Pingtest.net 0 Packet Loss and Grade A.

Im still dont know what is going wrong with my maxis ftth.
Its already been 2 weeks, since the first installation.

Might be some other problem also.
After the installation finish, they put the router behind the windows grille.
That grille effect the wifi signal around 80%.
I can connect the wifi from range of around 20+ meter without object blocking.
With the grille my speedtest result drop to around 1mb speed or even lower.
I try to move the router to the front side of the grille where it facing my room.
The speed back to normal and the signal become stronger.

Anyone having problem with pc online games?
I get very high ping since the first installation until now.
Game is delay and not playable

3 of my friend using Unifi dont have the issue of high ping in online game.
Even i change to public ip also same, the port i have just forwarded just last for around 5min !

I get around 200 to 400+ ping in online games.
mostly i will get 400+ ping in game, unplayable, even port forwarding also not working for me.
The first installation is about 3 weeks ago.
The first week is okay about the gaming, but will get high ping rarely, after the second weeks, those high ping just keep popping up, i end up went to internet cafe with friends.

Im not really sure about the D3, my brother say he got no problem playing D3 at home (same line with me), im not sure what server he is playing.
And he only play at midnight.

So far i see people complaining their BF3, but i never play that game.

And then i try to play minecraft with my friends also, i do port forward after i changed to the public ip, that port just open for around 5min and never going to be open again until now.

One of my friend (Unifi user) use hamachi to host minecraft server, I join and im suffering lag, but another of my friend (Unifi user too) he join without problem, very smooth. If i host the server, both of my friend lag, i ping them and get around 400 ping.

Give them a call, when they installed for me, i also get the same speed as yours, they said they give me the wrong package, instead of 10mbps, they give me 6.

Just tested the line, the high ping issue still remain the same, i still cannot play my game.

Online game still not playable for me.

not sure where it route to, but i choose to play MY server and still getting 300+ ping.

i try to host a game using comodo unite (something like hamachi) my friend still getting lag.
and my friend who using unifi host, other join without problem, but if i join i will lag.

starhub ping seems to be okay to me, around 100 up down.
not sure about the gaming performance yet, haven try.
and i want to ask something about the router port forwarding.
i try to port forward my games minecraft, but only works for 5min, after that never success letting my friend to join my network anymore (im on public ip)

yes i did it correctly, i put the port range as 25565 to 25565 both tcp/udp.
and the trigger port 25565 with tcp/udp too.
assign the game port to my pc also.

and i used this to check my port it open anot http://www.canyouseeme.org/ (is this accurate?) and get error. Reason: Connection timed out

this is the full error i get from that website.

what do you mean no application listening on those port? (im no expert in networking)

My game server is running while im testing the port, seems like not working at all, i closed both of my firewall too pc and router.

Testing for flying spaghetti monster hon malaysia server, since there is 400 ping in the past 2 week, gonna give it a shot.

The gaming performance for maxis ftth is increased, but still not really satisfy yet, the ping from 400 drop to 200 yesterday night.

The ping issue is dropping now.
Last time i get around few second delay on my minecraft server,
last night dropped to 2sec, and today around 0.5 sec.
and the flying spaghetti monster Hon is playable already.

The flying spaghetti monster hon is still not perfect yet, so far singapore server is playable only, MY server still getting around 300 ping.

why is the "G.arena" automatic change to "flying spaghetti monster" even i edit it?

Help needed here for port forwarding for my minecraft.
seems to be not working for me, the first time is working for 5min, until now also cannot connect, weird?
