Hey guys, I was just testing the usage on my iphone 4. At about 1/3 brightness with all PUSH, Location info turned off etc , but using wifi to download apps from app store.

Notice that battery life drops at about 1% every 5 mins. Is that normal ? I read online that there are units with "dud" batteries and was just wondering mine is having problems.

Thanks for any info..

p/s : I can't stop staring at the screen.. it is beautiful hehe..

Hey folks, just wondering if anybody's been in a situation like this hehe...

My wife wants to transfer contacts from her old iphone to the new one. Problem is, the computer she used to sync on was formatted/deleted etc and now when I plug her IPhone into the computer, it says "this iphone was not synced with this computer etc etc (approximate message)". Does this mean it will erase the contacts on her phone and better off for her to just manually reenter all contacts?

I'm not sure about this process because I just didn't bother with mine and did a clean restore and reentered everything manually.. but she has a lot of contacts on her phone and it could be a tedious process to do manual entry.

Thanks for any info.

Checklist before proceed to the steps below.
1) Upgrade your iTunes to the latest ones.
2) Ignore any iTunes pop ups.
3) Upgrade new iPhone to latest firmware before "restore from backup" (Just a suggestion thou, you can ignore this if you want).

Two (2) methods are available:
Backup contacts via iTunes
1) Plug in your wife's old iPhone to itunes. Cancel any pop ups by iTunes.
2) On the left side of iTunes, right click "iPhone name" and select "backup".
3) Unplug old iPhone and plug in new iPhone.
4) Repeat step no.2 and select "restore backup" instead of "backup".
5) Done.

Backup contacts via iDrive Lite (download from iTunes store - FREE).
Its a free ware just search the app via iTunes store / app store. The function of this app is to backup your contact via Internet database. Will store your contacts online. Download it and just follow step by step.

Good luck yo.
