It is either reporting it properly now as 3 bars or reporting it erratically/erroneously previously as 1-3bars.

Either way, these indicators should be treated as a guide, not gospel. The real issue you need to worry about is the actual call quality even when the phone indicates 1 bar or none at all. I've got bars dancing up and down my iPhone 4 but the call went through and stays throughout the call session.

With the arrival of the iPhone 4 officially today, I can only imagine the heavy burden the mods and the vets here, having their patience tested with the influx of questions they had to face from new iPhone owners. Hang tough guys, I just hope I dont have to answer the "why the speaker at the bottom only come out sound from one side only" questions ever again.

His, and a lot of other's beef with you is not your helpful attitude but your reckless misinformation that may lead to further complicate the problems you've answered to, rather than solving it. My policy is simple, if I dont know the answer, I dont respond to the question. Let the real experts deal with it. Your answers , from the list he had compiled are complicating the issues further than solving it. Sooner or later, people will be questioning your answers rather than responding to the question you've answered wrongly.

Simply put: Dont know? Dont answer. My regrets to you for not understanding his point of view. I mean what the fcuk is with that answer about the Bonjour service? You're asking if the person talks French? THAT is your extent of your befuddleness, how others trust your answers if you cant even handle basic queries like these?

Nobody's questioning your willingness to help answer these queries, they are questioning the validity of your answers. Case in point: The Bonjour question.

See? Even in your response to this, there are befuddleness. Do you even know what that word mean? It's not like I'm mistaking Bonjour for a French word or anything.

IF your clarification is indirect, it does not add to the point at hand, the guy needs help in one case, you add more confusion in another? Do people answer question with another question? Do you see information counter asking your question "Please tell me where is the toilet?" with another question "Why do you want to go to the toilet?" question? See how ridiculous it is?

What is wrong with the word fcuk? Are you living in your own self-protected world that you've never come across the word that it is suddenly offensive to you? I use that in context of emphasizing how ludicrous your case is, and from your response, it works and it had hit home.

If I'm "childish hatred" (look at your own choice of words already know your "befuddleness" when it comes to vocabulary), I'd be answering like how those idiots are answering in Kopitiam. "kthxbai", "u go dai" and such. I would not even entertain your answer with such elaborate paragraphs like these. How's that for your "befuddleness", "my friend"?

I would be missing you and your feedbacks if your feedbacks are something to fall back to, worthwhile or useful as references to the rest of the community here. But responses like "Bonjour = French", "iPhone becomes iPad" and such? What content or value are "all your feedbacks you've given" if these are the quality of your feedbacks? Baik tak payah!

There you got it wrong again. We dont have to answer. The length and breath of the pinned threads on the iPhone prepared by DavidGary(especially) and the rest of others who contributed to the pinned thread has now become an invaluable asset for new owners to read and refer to when they had problems with their iPhones. Most if not all the answers are available there on those pinned threads. The only problem is, these noobs chose not to read those pinned thread, instead come out whining and lollygagging like hungry baby bird chicks opening their collective mouths asking to be spoonfed with answers by posting new threads instead of posting them in the already available threads or by simply reading those pinned threads. We are trying to cultivate a culture of being independent, and get everyone to read up, research and contribute to our iPhone community by arming themselves with knowledge, if not advanced one, even the basic knowledge will do. The problem is, every year we have stupid questions like "why speaker only one side" and your question of "Your Bonjour is French aaaa?", so we cannot move towards the more intellectual questions that are more worth discussing, but instead have to regress and answer stupid questions and attend to noobs who spread misinformation and correct them. We can never progress beyond what we are unless we are strong in our basics. Ni basics pun tunggang langgang, macamana nak maju?

Look whose the crybaby now? Where my post makes sense, yours make none (or should I say "nonsense") whatsoever. I can "politely" tell you off, but you dont have the vocabulary, grammatical, nor mental capacity to "read between the lines" and get what I'm "politely" telling you off, so the straight-to-the-point method is the only linguistically-challenge folks you can understand.

So here's the "polite" version: "please take your Samurai sword and play Fruit Ninja with it. You're better off that way, hurt no one that way, and confuses/befuddle/misinform no one that way, so that you can contain the damage to yourself only". Polite enough for you?

Until you have a point to make, take English lessons. Or at least download WordsWorth or Word Scramble and brush up your "sense" of vocabulary there. If disagreement in forum is defined as "attacking" to you, then you have a lot to look to when people in real life disagree in your face point blank.

Mods, feel free to exercise your judgment whether this post of mine is considered "attacking" or "disagreeing" and/or to delete it. Some people's skull are too thick to get any form of message through.

1.Please stop answering questions you dont know the answer to.

2.Please stop answering questions with another question.

3.Please stop thinking that if people are talking about Bonjour in Apple Byte, that they're talking French.

4.Please stop misinforming people that if they upgrade their iPhones to 4.1 their iPhone will magically turn into iPads.

5.Please stop misinforming people to Google their carrier setting on MMS for their iPhone.

6.Please stop asking people to fly back to their countries of origin to unlock their iPhones.

7.Please stop thinking that everyone should speak nicely to you, you have not earn that with the way you conduct yourself here.

8.Please take better English lessons, "breasfeeding" is spelt "breast-feeding". Also please stop befuddling your brain, no breast-feeding(correct spelling) small child has the capability to post such grammatically correct paragraphs and phrases as I do in the forum.

9.Please think in a worldly manner, when "fcuk" means offensive to you, to the rest of the world , it isnt. There's even a documentary discussing why the word "fcuk" is offensive to prudes like you.

No unlocking threads or post of any kinds allowed in here. Plus this thread can be posted in the iPhone Club thread to report any grievances with regards to your iPhone, you dont have to make a new thread to bring up your own personal grievances, you're not special. Everybody else follows the rules and posted theirs in the relevant thread, who are you that everyone has to attend to your case exclusively?
