QUOTE(Dgigabytez @ Sep 18 2010, 03:48 PM) must be a phone specific issue.. I havent noticed it on my phone.. I would wait for the official launch here.. and see one of the genius bar's service guys (if they have it here) or send it back to apple for a new unit (if the noise is unbearable)..you should check out this thread as well http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=12066310 & s3an_looi is right.. shouldnt take it off before u get a screen or protector of some sort.. wouldnt wanna do sumthing clumsy and get a scratch.. but the noise could be caused by the film too.. u tried removing the film and case..? try that and call someone.. see if the noise is still there.. |

QUOTE(llk @ Sep 19 2010, 04:39 PM) Carrier settings updates are small files (about 10k) that are downloaded from iTunes to be installed on your iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi + 3G. The carrier settings can include updates to the default APN (how the device accesses the carrier's cellular data network). The carrier settings for iPhone also include special dialing codes at Settings > Phone > [Carrier] Services, default settings for Stocks, Maps, Weather, and other items. When you insert a new SIM or micro-SIM into an iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi + 3G, you must connect the device to a computer running iTunes to download the latest carrier settings. You should also install the latest carrier settings updates for your device as soon as they are available.thats what apple has to say about it.. i hope its a fix for the random data usage issues.... |
