HD video capturing does eat up your memory significantly. If you use it a lot, 32gb is of cos better.

@moderator, can we lock this thread, and only have TS & others with real info to post? this is not a 'troubleshooting' thread.

I guess it is always good to help out fellow forumers with problems and to put a blanket ban is completely out of the question. However, we do hope that people can use the search button just to get the info they want to avoid repeated questions.

Help us and help yourselves! notworthy.gif

Just to add to the above, I want to stress that dead pixels or stuck pixels are quite common as well. If you are not as obsessed with this issue as me, please don't check. If you do want to, stuck pixel can be checked with a complete black wall paper (check for glowing pixel which is not black) while dead pixel on a complete white background (check for black pixel that doesnt change color).

Speaking from my personal experience, I replaced my IP4 twice to get a unit with no pixel problem. Maybe I was unlucky but my friend too had this problem and replaced it once. If you google around or care to read Apple forum, quite a number of people have this problem as well.

Just something to share. Dont blame me if you become obsessed with the pixel thing. You might not see it if you don't look hard enough but once you see it, you can't stop noticing it the next time you stare at your screen.

It's true... Apple is in progress of shipping out the new mode that fix the antenna issue via hardware and not firmware...

It's Uncle Google that say it out...
*
That is so not going to happen. Anybody can post anything on the internet these days. Unless Apple makes an official statement or else I don't see how this is going to materialize. Existing owners would be infuriated to mention the least of this impossible scenario!

MAXIS set - depend on your luck. My friend got his from Malacca and told me he has no signal n dropbar issues. Since is new set, no harm trying to get a replacement if one has so many problems with it
*
I doubt you can get a replacement with such the signal issue. Afterall all units r the same. No point getting a replacement.

to be honest, all my frens who bought from maxis experiencing some sort of signal prblem. some either drops to 1 bar or to no signal. depends on the 3g strength in dat area. ur fren might have been testin it in a good coverage area, thus no issues. its best just to use a case/cover and jst close one eye. although the signal drops on my set, its not as bad as how they made it to be. i stil can sms and call although 1 bar. just dun be too obsessed over the signal gfx on d fone.
*
+1, that's more like the real scenario. Maybe we should drop the signal issue once and for all and move on to some other topics regarding iphone 4. Anyone having camera issues? Splotching & yellow tint etc?

Guys,if i stick 3M carbon fiber sticker for side will it solve the antenna problem? =X
*
Theoretically, any interface that can increase the resistance / seperate the skin from the surface can solve the problem.

I think everyone also same indoor using 3G signal will drop till 1 bar but won't go no service.

outdoor 3G full bar, death grip also ok.

does anyone ip4 gets hot using 3G?
*
Mine doesn't seem to have the heating issue. By the way what do u mean by heating while using 3G? Browsing?

if you claim warranty from the telco, usually they replace you with recondition unit (which is not new) it doesn't come with complete box...
if they give you a complete box and still wrapped with plastic, then it is the new set...

Usually recondition unit give you problem in future....
*
I dont think there is any reconditioned unit as of this point. So just get a replacement with no worries. Never try never know. Just show them where the dead pixel is!

im nt sure if its a hardware or software prob but worse case scenario b4 u decide to claim waranty, mayb u can restore as new fone n see d outcome. might be faulty power software management..
*
It is more likely to be hardware than software. What software in IP4 can cause overheating? I suggest to take a snapshot of the screen and show it to the people at maxis centre

So much for wanting a revised version. Your best bet would be to wait until next July. I hope this antennagate issue will stop already
