Depends. If you're satisfy with the free content, you can save your cash.

But it's going to be a grindy path to 65 unless you cough/farm up some points for the quest packs.

Which mean if I dont wanna top up, I will forever stick with lvl 65? What's the max level btw?

65 IS the max atm you will need to either purchase the map pack by means of paying or by farming the turbine point to purchase it. So basically you are at par with paying customers in terms of stats.

you can learn all skill as long you have enough ingame to buy them all

Anyone purchased the Isengard Pre-Order? still thinking.. haha.. it should be purchasable on release in the LOTRO store.. but the pre-order items has THE "ring" effect to them.. just keeps asking me to buy buy buy xD

Good news is pre-order is out. Bad news is, you cant pre-order using TP points. Need cold hard cash~ or credit card~ ;P
but it should be purchasable from store with TP upon launch.. no idea on the price though.
