One point to note. In general, if you level up without rushing through the content, by the time you reach level 30-34, you will have accumulated more than enough Turbine points to buy the next quest pack. (There are several you can get for your level range but Evendim is the one which gives you the best bang for your points). The next quest pack after that, you will probably need to start farming some turbine points for or just play another class. I regularly get about 500 points a month from casual play. That said, I have a lot of toons

QUOTE(realn00b @ Dec 9 2011, 12:52 AM) still downloading the game If there's anyone in Kuching that's downloading the game, I'd be more than happy to meet up somewhere lend you a copy of the game. It took me quite a fair bit of time to download the whole thing so I know what it's like, heh.

QUOTE(wuszhtag @ Dec 12 2011, 11:25 PM) from my login page, seems it on maintenance. Scheduled Server Downtime: Monday, December 12th Dec 09, 2011 18:55 EST The LOTRO Game Servers will be brought down on Monday, December 12th from 6:00 - 10:00 AM Eastern (-5 GMT) to launch the latest game update, Update 5: Armies of Isengard. Patch notes will be available during the downtime. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon! Is there daylight saving now? Cause a month or so back. Servers went down pretty much 12 hours from the time stated. I.E if it said 6am it'll be 6pm our time. However yesterday I did not log out and the server didn't shut till exactly 7pm (give or take a few seconds )

Hey all! Just an update. Had a very hectic month so not played much. Having a bit more free time now so will continue on and off in the coming weeks. Also been spending time playing on my 3DS. CNY coming up as well so might not be on much this month too come to think of it :S But I will still be playing! (ish )

Guild has been quiet. Hardly anyone on atm. That said, I'm usually only on late nights or early mornings...
Problem is, everyone's at various levels now which makes it hard to group up. Perhaps we should sort out new alts and decide on a level cap so we all do certain instances/skirmishes on a regular basis.
E.G All level up to 20 and stop. Decide on a day to log on and group together to go 1-2 Skirmishes followed by a trip to Barrow Downs.
This is what I'm doing with some friends of mine. Most of us are parked at 20 waiting for the odd 1 - 2 that doesn't have the free time to play to get to 20. In the mean time we play other alts or kit each other up with crafted items until they catch up and go through a few missions together. Once that's completed, we move on to the next cap for the next instance etc...
Currently we have a band of Guardian, Captain, Champ and Minstrel. (Still waiting on the guardian levelling up - He's been busy)

One thing very unsual for me with Lotro though...I've had the game since early access and I've yet to get any of my toons to cap On every single other games I've played I usually rush for the end game. Not much for lotro, very quite felt the urge to do that and I just switch between alts/crafts regularly. Think it's mostly due to the lack of proper PvP. PvM just doesn't make an impact in the world of Eriador. Plus based on the storyline you kind of know how it all ends so whatever you do won't influence the world much *sigh* Times like these I wish daoc was still popular...

I'm one of the ones that's 'quit' lotro. No doubt I will be back, but the recent lag spikes I got just got frustrating. It came to a point where I was getting disconnected every half hour. Admittedly, with SWTOR out and diablo coming out in 3 days, won't help the matter either. That said, I do occasionally log back in to for a quick walk about in the land of Eriador

After watching the Hobbit, I had to log back in to just go for a walk around Eriador The new patches looks good. I'll probably play a few of my alts from time to time. Almost accumulated enough TP for the RoR. Is there any difference between the pre purchase compared to the one bought from the in game store?

QUOTE(s0uz1n @ Dec 21 2012, 05:40 PM) i would like to join but i can't play many games at the same time, will get dizzy because of lack of sleep and rest. It's not dead yet. At least i see around 100+ people playing at our night time and the most number is in our day time @ early in the morning around 400 people. u may see it dead because people are mostly at the latest end-game place (Snowbourn in East Rohan). Sure, Bree looks like dead town but Turbine did revamp and the town now looks more lively then before (means more npcs and buildings) BTW, Air.... I've usurped our Adventurer of Eriador, since they are no kinsmen to help me add my low level toon (and made it as leader too). PM me @LYN Souzin or @IGN Souzin / Leithion if u're ready to take back the kin. p/s - mounted combat feels good and OP I started playing lotro again for the lack of any decent mmos. Had to usurp you too Souzin! I've reopened the kin house with what little cash I had so everything is still up and running.
