Cannot say a waste of shutter also...
Anything can be a piece of art, if he add something interesting in it, so why not ?
Besides, toilet or fan or something simlar won't waste so much shutter...

Tumpang again.
What setting you guys normally use while you want fast capture or something like PnS on your DSLR ? Which mode you use ? A, M, S, P ?

I personally use A just to adjust the DOF.
How about you guys and what mode to recommend ?

Fast capture ? Set Auto ISO, A mode.
A mode also provided your aperture is big enough else M should do the work.

I see. Thanks for the input.
Why you guys don't choose P ?

newbie question again...

What is the difference between Auto mode and P mode? They are both automatically adjusting the aperture and shutter speed...
*
Auto Mode basically is um... AUTO. You don't have to adjust ANYTHING, even the flash.
Just dial into that mode and start shooting, no fuss, no worry.

P mode aka Program Auto is also automatic mode but you can adjust the exposure compensation and adjust ISO, WB, flash compensation and so on.
P mode only adjusts the shutter and aperture only, not the ISO, WB wtc.
