QUOTE(sidewinderz @ Sep 4 2010, 09:55 PM) yea man...haha...currently broke after i got this... How much did u get it for bro? Sigma 70-200 2.8. How's the quality btw? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 4 2010, 10:04 PM) ^ On second thought it seems the D3100 has equivalent ISO performance of D700/D3. Might as well see what D90 replacement can offer! Woah really? It's proven in reviews? |

Guys, I always wonder. Why bokeh is better of FX body? Is it because of the sensor?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 8 2010, 07:26 AM) You do know that if you're closer to your subject, DOF reduces right? Ohh yea forgot So yes, comparing FX and DX, let's say 100mm. The DX might be standing at say 2m away, but the FX might be 1.5m to get similar composition. Just a rough estimation. Meaning 100mm bokeh on FX equals 70mm bokeh on DX. Right? |

I bought the ori grip from my friend last time. His camera displays low battery sign even with 2 batteries charged full. So he went to nikon and they said that the connector on his camera is faulty.
Then he sold it to me for Rm400 after using it for a short time, just like new. And the same thing happened. Gave it back to him, and he went to Nikon again. Now they're gonna replace it with a new one, but no stock now. Hate using my camera without the grip. My hand is too big I guess. LOL |

Guys, heard so many comments regarding the Tammy 17-50. What's the main thing that you don't like the most? Build quality? Other than that? So for I'm loving my 17-50 non-VC. No problem yet but I've experienced back-focusing before. Sharpness also very good for my likings

The strap I think. Focusing the lens would be better for me

Why not the new 55-300?
QUOTE(tengster @ Oct 11 2010, 05:53 PM) D90 18-105mm.....For indoor photography, what is the more suitable setting for F number and shutter speed? Depends on the lighting. Use the smallest F number(meaning bigger aperture) and not too low on the shutter speed or your pic will be blurry. Bump the ISO up a bit. I think it's better for you to use A or S mode, then you will get the idea of which setting to use I am new. |

Will it be weird if I buy a 24-120 f4 for my D90? Feeling lazy to swap lenses. Might consider selling my Tammy 17-50, 50 f1.4, and 55-200
Not really tempted by the 18-200 though. How's the performance of it? Good? Any other alternatives? This post has been edited by FaezFarhan: Oct 23 2010, 04:29 AM |

Anyone using Nikkor 18-200 VRII? Btw, is it sharper than Tammy 17-50 f2.8?
