QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 29 2010, 02:51 PM) Thanks! I downloaded the preset for LR, then tweak a little to my liking ^^. I see. 16-35 eh? That's why no bokeh haha. Did you use flash for that pic? Coz the model looked bright but far away I like the previous one too, but that settings only worked for that pic >_<, the others like not so nice urgh. Btw, can you share the download link if you still have it? |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Oct 31 2010, 10:21 PM) Damn. MBD-80 keep showing no batt whenever I put on 700200 VR. Me too last time. Brought to Nikon PJ, first they say it was my body's prob. Then brought a Meike one to prove to them, they gave me a new one with a new warranty Connection problem between the batt grip and body I guess. |

Need one confirmation about the 16-85. Is it sharper than Tamy 17-50?

The sharpness of the 16-85 is after the 17-55 right? I mean it's the second best DX lens?

QUOTE(ifaaan @ Nov 3 2010, 10:05 PM) hey cel, what's your honest opinion on the 70-200 f/2.8 VRII ? Based on celciuz's previous pictures, I would say it's awesome! The sharpness, contrast and etc. But I don't own one so I can't say much Is it worth the trouble of carrying a heavy lens or would you have rather used multiple single focal lengths with fast aperture instead? but as i see it, lenses like 85 f/1.4G is already RM5k >< seems like the 70-200 is more worth it. thanks! Added on November 3, 2010, 10:06 pmor anybody who uses or used the 70-200 please feel free to say what's on your mind. |

QUOTE(ifaaan @ Nov 3 2010, 10:33 PM) hahah. yeah, his pictures really do give the 70-200 a good image. seriously considering the 70-200 as i really can't think of any other lenses that can meet my needs. thanks! True. The length and weight of the lens will make it more stable to hold IMO. My 2nd dream lens after the 24-70 |

"It seems to us that Nikon is reallly missing out lens at the Prosumer level. They have something less than $600-$700 or over $1500. Really nothing in between."
Took this from the net. It's really true, explains my situation now |

Manage to get my mom to buy me a SB900 next week
Is it a good time to buy or I should stick to my Di622 first and wait for replacement? Eneloop battery is suitable for the SB900? |

Haha FX in the future with my own money Ohh btw talking about UWA, I really like the distortion made by it. Planning to get a tokina 1116 in the future. IIRC, kenrockwell said it'a better than Nikkor 1224, though the range is better |

Dunno why it became weird when I said my parents is buying me my camera stuff. Normal only meh, it's like a foundation for me. I wanna do wedding photography in the future when I have enough skills, hopefully soon. Now it's mostly taking family photos, events, etc. When I get money from that, then I stop burdening my parents
