Haha, the same thing I've been doing before this. But seldom use since always on single point ever since I started using faster lens like 50mm f/1.8D.

i thnk he already mention that this thread surely said D90. and my answer is the same. reason, bigger body, top screen. dual dial.

ISO level only slightly differ,
sharpness at my ametuer eye slighty differ. canon sharp soft, nikon sharp detail.
nikon color is the weak point. canon color more alive i guess. even after PP also canon wins.
nikkor has better lens line up. (dont let canon guys read diz or i die lo)
nikon speedlight has better TTL accuracy and to me i thnk the ambiance is nicer...

i much prefer nikkor button compare to canon (depend on user)

else what more meh? go to shop and hold both body. choose which u more comfy with. image quality wise. almost same at ametuer eyes. smile.gif

He mentioned Canon 50D so to compare with D90, the 50D is bigger in size, heavier, rear dial is useful. wink.gif

QUOTE(Bliz @ Sep 25 2010, 08:46 PM)
I think the model he wanted is 50D, not 500D ... Imho canon colour is soft while nikon colour is very vivid, good for scenery, canon's colour is better for potrait
*
my bad then. malu nye~! accidently read 550D sweat.gif

since we are on the topic of flashes here is a question i have nagging in my head for a few weeks now.

whats the benefit of a soft box and what is the benefit of an umbrella?

which would u buy to compliment ur camera setup. a soft box or umbrella?

i'm very stumped at the moment since both camps swears the goodness of each other rigs.
*
soft box makes ur flash more directional while umbrella will spread out the light. both has different function. i takes umbrella for start up

I already sent my D90 to service and the problem still happen. Besides that i always used f/2.8 when using 50mm lens.
FYI, i have increase the sharpness to 5 and saturation to +1. Maybe need another D90 to compare the picture of the same objects with the same lens and setting. Hope all taiko can help settle my problem.
*
some of my 50mm shot. exif still there for reference. my setting, sharpness i decrease 3 stop.

i doh.gif coz razu pro ed not beginner~! normally i use A or M only depends on my mood. i can use either one with no hassle tongue.gif even using A also sometimes my image blown also...

i dont use S coz i realize how important is aperture is. for me, i must know what i want to shoot, then first setting i prior the most is aperture.
